Hello,

My name is Jonathan Rogiers, I am a 27 y/o male living in Belgium.

The reason i am making this aplication is that due to working 2 shifts i can't fit into a normal 3 day a week raid schedual, thus i started looking for a weekend (mainly sunday) raiding guild with the right mindset for progress.

So after having a look around i came to "iron edge" and decided to make this aplication.

I have been playing and raiding on and off since launch. Raiding has always been my passion in wow and raiding trough trade just isn't the same as doing it with the same group of people each week.

I am currently on Shattered-Hand but i'm willing to transfer asap

Class/Spec:

I am playing retribution as my main- and prot as my off-spec.

Current gear lvl is 652 as ret and 654 as prot, since i recently decided to make this my main the ilvl is rather low (especially since BFD is close).

I am activly improving my gear and am always up to date with enchants and gems.

*getting my 690 ring next reset and got hc cache comming in.

Well playing as retribution is mostly aboud a priority order and gathering/spening holy power in the best way possible at the moment.

I find that the ret spec talents offer a good choice between a pure ST fight or AOE and you can take talents depending on that.

Ret as a hybrid class also bring strong cooldowns (hand spells, LoH, etc...) and a decent row of mobility talents.

As prot the same aplies altho you have to spend HP and Cooldowns according to the dmg you are or will be taking.


I am keeping up to date with class changes and actively read forums to improve what i am doing.

My mage is ilvl 663

only classes i don't have at 100 are druid,monk,priest and rogue

Professions:

JC/engi

Made the pala in tbc so i took jc, i think somewhere later i decided to lvl engi.

Not much special recipes to be had in WoD, got both maxed and i have the vendor recipes.

Raiding Experience:

Have been raiding a long time so i'll keep to my recent xp.

As i am not able to atain a normal raid schedual i used Openraid to get Siege of ogrimmar cleared.

I started on my warlock in a flex run and stuck around the same run untill we cleared up to malk heroic (pre mythic nerf).

I always prepare in advanced for any raid i do (reading/watching)
I am self sufficient with food, flasks and pots.

Previous Guilds:

Mostly used open raid in MoP, i always search for a raiding guild that accepts socials so that i'm still in a guild with likeminded people.

I have never been kicked from a guild, they either where in decline or as with my pala they even disbanded.

Availability:

I work switching shifts so sunday is the go to day for raiding, i'll get close to 100%.

The way i'm seeing it, wow and raiding are my hobbies and hobbies deserve time.
And in order to stay on top of things the best way to do that is to be there when it's go time.

Communication:

As i'm old enough and working i will always have a working headset.
I am rather quiet on TS tho.

Software isn't a problem, i know how to fix things.

Computer / Connection:

Belgium has good isp's.
My current rig is around 4 y/o recently upgraded with a fresh batch of RAM and a more up to date gfx card.

Running wow smooth with full options.

DBM for raiding.
Curse client for updates.

Other Games:

Anything if i like it, gaming is what i do so if i'm not playing wow i'm playing something else.

If you are looking for a motivated weekend raider who will show up when required i am your guy.

I know that my current gear lvl is on the low side but i'm working on it.
I currently don't have any logs (should read up on how to do it first) but my avg dps ST when i had a 645 2H was 24k+ with my cleave talents.

Almost any time when i raided, if there was a wipe it's was't due to me, either mechanics or dps wise. I always strive to be the best i can withing the possibilies of the class.
