Raider Application - Druid (DPS) - Quarterback
« on: January 31, 2015, 10:08:54 am »
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying for the main raid.

Character: Quarterback
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Quarterback/advanced
Class/Spec: Druid (DPS)
Member Type: raider

Personal Info:

Name: Marco
Age: 29
Location: UK

Class/Spec:

Main Spec: Balance druid (450+ played days since patch 2.1), Ilvl680
Off Spec: Can tank if needed, Ilvl 670+

Druid, I've played the balance druid for a very long time. I understand it in and out. My main source of learning is warcraft logs, where i can compare my performance to other top druids, as well as truly understand the reasons why i rank top 200 or don't rank top 200.

The balance druid is very sensitive to a guilds tactic and the current talent system available does little good for single target high mobility fights. Thank god BRF is different.

Single target rotation: Always apply dots at the beginning or at the end of solar or lunar eclipse. Never reapply dots if the curent dot duration is greater than 8sec for Sunfire or 12 Sec for Moonfire.

AOE rotation. Double target high mobility fights. Starfall>Starsurge, Same fight type no mobility Starsurge>Starfall.

Stat Priority: Crit=Mastery>Multistrike=Haste, the rest is absolute shit

For my understanding of the balance druid. visit my website at homeofthebalancedruid.wordpress.com where i share a few tips about being among the best balance druids ww.

Alts:

lots of lvl 93 garrison farming alts.

Professions:

Engineering (Cause it used to be awesome) and Enchanting. Nothing cool nothing special.

Raiding Experience:

6/7 mythic. Only reason i dont have 7/7 is because of poor strategy, as well as i dont have the time to raid 3 times a week anymore. Just want to be part of a casual 2x week raiding guild, that manages to clear everything when nerfs are introduced.

I have till date cleared all content since TBC.

Previous Guilds:

The list is long but the reasons i've left a guild have been many.

When i used o raid 5-6 times a week i would leave guilds due to slower progression and poor management.

Now that i raid causally i usually leave guilds due to real life schedule changes.

I can only raid twice per week thursdays and mondays.

Availability:

Any day of the week but only twice a week rom 20-00

Communication:

TS is fine. Microphone is fine.

Computer / Connection:

Mac 27" Fully upgrade 2014 version. All setting on Max with no issues at all.

Addons/UI:

Please visit homeofthebalancedruid.wordpress.com if you truly want to know what addons are crucial for the balance druids :-)

Other Games:

No games

Why Iron Edge?

Because of raid days and hours, and perhaps i can contribute a little in future patches if needed :-)

What can I offer Iron Edge?

100% attendance and great performance.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

wowprogress, looked for a guild with 2week days raiding (LF DRUID BALANCE) and you guys were top2.

Last Words?

Sorry for the poor application. just wanted to apply before i leave to tough guy in wolverhampton. I am available for TS interview on Monday if needed. Chek out Homeofthebalancedruid.wordpress.com its not completed yet but its a little money making project i have going on.

Hiyo.
I was kinda waiting a bit with replying to this application, seeing as how I wanted others to come here and see what they had to say as well. Your application together with the website you have really just explains it all, making it a very easy decision for me all in all  :D taking all the potential digging work away from me, basically.
You're more than welcome to join the guild, and you can poke me or any officer ingame for an invite. Looking forwards to seeing you in raids!
