Personal Info:

Harrow, my name is Marcel. I'm from South-Africa. I studied Elctro/Mechanical engineering. Currently working as an engineer for a local company. I've been playing WoW since TBC. I play other games competitively like CS:GO and DOTA. I'm Global Elite in CS:GO and currently at 5k MMR in DOTA. I'm normally weird AF.

Class/Spec:

Currently playing Balance/Resto with Balance being main spec. Can play kitty/bear at full capacity as well. Current gear level is quite low since I haven't been playing recently. Balance 718, Resto 716, Kitty 709 and Bear 700.

For legion Balance stats will be (Int > Haste > Crit > Mastery=Vers) and Resto (Int > Haste > Crit > Mastery > vers)
As for rotation as Balance (MOAR DOTS) and resto (MOAR HOTS). uhm.. I mean as Balance (Apply Moon/Starfire, Solar Wrath to generate Astral power on single target, Lunar strike if more than 1 target present, and Starsurge to consume astral power and get empowerment stacks).

Raiding Experience:

TBC - Played a priest(healer) on a private server, most of the fights were scripted but it got me use to the play style of the game. Cleared all TBC content on scripted fights so they don't really count I guess.

Played Resto druid since the start of Cata up untill now with changing to offspec certain times.

Previous Guilds:

WotLK - Angry Kittens(Casual raiding guild). Started official WoW in WotLK, so just joined a friends guild to learn the basics of the real game.
Cata - Satya Yuga, started off on my Warlock and was my first competitive raiding guild, they had me swap from Warlock to druid since they needed a tank.
- Aftermath, joined them at the end of Cata on DS and cleared content, then MoP hit and they disbanded. Went into panic mode but got a new guild fast after that.
MoP - Chronos, we cleared content and did HC progress. We were ranked realm #3 at the time. They changed realm and faction.
- Pescorus, joined them after Chronos transferred, we were ranked #2, cleared HC content untill they disbanded due to IRL issues with some players. After that I stopped playing WoW for about a year due to studies. So I skipped the most of MoP, but from what I heard it was a bad expansion, so I got that going for me which is nice.
WoD - Kittens LTD, joined that start of WoD and did excellent mythic progress in the first few weeks until they merged with another guild which had a resto druid officer. So I was benched most of the time. Left them and stopped for a few months.
- Entropy, joined them when HFC patch launched after we killed Arhchimond on HC, we got 5/13 mythic within 3 raids. They stopped raiding after that due to lack of players showing up for raids and I decided to stop then as well.

Availability:

Can play any day of the week except Sundays. Nothing else will affect those days.

Run at 100 FPS during raiding
Have a 40 mb/s line and get around 150 ms ( never been a problem with raiding in the past) and its stable.

TellMeWhen - To keep track of my debuffs on a target, to track certain abilities in specific fights, to see trinket procs and other abilities getting activated such as legendary ring.
Exorsus Raid tools - For fighting mechanics
Omen - For watching dem threat
Recount - For watching dem deeps, and to see from what I took damage and how to improve.
Other addons are mostly there for cosmetic purposes.

to be fair Iron Edge has always had a contingent of South African players... granted lately it was just me holding down the fort with megz but before that there was Steve and Footmunch ... but there is always atleast one at one point there was like 15 of us xD

I think we have like five or six now.. But I don't really mind as long as I'm allowed to make shamelessly racist jokes at their expense!

Lazaru ,you don't really have the raiding experience that we've expected from applicants for a while now, but since you seem to be a talented gamer in general, and WoW not being a particularly hard game, I'm willing to overlook it.

Based on your history you seem to take quite a few breaks from WoW. Can you convince me that you're going to be a stable and reliable raider for a long time to come, and that you have the right attitude required to sit through long nights of progress raiding?

I only stopped playing once due to the issue being on my side, that was when I was busy with studies. The other times it was out of my hands. I try to be fully committed towards being in a guild full time for a long duration but something always comes up on their side. It's like I'm cursed or something. But I'm on a stable schedule now and willing to give my all.
