Personal Info:

My name is Martin, I am 26 years old.
I live in Denmark and work as a Software Engineer

Class/Spec:

During legion my favorite spec has been Guardian. I find guardian fun to play because I like having a critical role in a group. I also like it because I don't have to focus on the DPS. I currently have an ilvl of 956, even though that won't mean much for BFA.

For my offspec I have feral at ilvl 961.

For guardian tanking in mythic raids, the priority for survivability has been vers/mastery. For some mythic+ it has been all about the DPS in crit/haste.

For priority Thrash has been my #1 this expansion (probably due to all the thrash relics I found). Thrash combined with Incarnation has left many people in awe of how hard it is to play Guardian druid against AoE. With the weapon skill Scintillating Moonlight it has also been important to keep moonfire up at all times. Ironfur should be up to mitigate damage, regeneration after taking a large amount of damage, and various cooldowns ready for large hits from bosses or adds.

I have a level 110 Shaman that I boosted with my 110 boost from BFA expansion

Professions:

I have engineering for the auction house in Dalaran, and the repair bot. Enchanting so I can be prepared with enchants at all times.

Raiding Experience:

During legion I have tanked EN 7/7M, ToV 0/3M, NH 9/10M and ToS 3/9M while they were current content. I killed Odyn Mythic just after Nighthold released. I have also tanked all raids on heroic and done Antorus as DPS on heroic.

Before legion I have raided some in WoD, WotlK and TBC.

Previous Guilds:

Memento on Auchindoun. We stopped raiding shortly after starting on ToS mythic.

Availability:

I am available after I come home from work around 17:00 on all weekdays.

Communication:

I can understand, speak and write in English. I have a microphone and I can use it. I also have TeamSpeak installed.

Computer / Connection:

My computer is decent, without any fps issues.
My internet connection is stable and I have a latency around 25-40ms to Kazzak.

Addons/UI:

I have DBM for raid warnings, WeakAuras 2 for an all purpose addon, and Skada for the damage meter.

Why Iron Edge?

I am looking for a guild to raid with during BFA, preferably with people I know. I have heard much good about the guild from Pratiarch and Fab, and the raid times fit me.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

I am a stable addition to a raid team, and I am willing to do mythic+ dungeons at a higher level as well. I have experience tanking mythic raids and mythic+ dungeons.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I have friends (Pratiarch, Fabulousfu, Psyanite) in the guild already, who I have raided with before during legion.

Last Words?

I am willing to play any class in BFA, but I would prefer tanking.

I can whole heartedly vouch for this guy, he played as main tank for Fab, Psy and I on our old server. I have never met a more relaxed, skilled and down to earth guy than Varum.

When we raided back at the start of Legion Varum showed full attendance, always good spirit, stellar performance and clear communication. I believe that Iron Edge will benefit good from offering Varum a new home!

And all of the above has nothing to do with Varum being "just another" Dane.

Could you give us more information about your raid history? When did you play, when did you quit, why did you quit, why are you not going to quit again?

During Legion i started raiding with EN, and continued until we got a few bosses into ToS mythic. The reason for me to stop raiding at that point was mainly that the guild stopped raiding, and pretty much disbanded.

During the latest raid tier, I have been playing dps in a somewhat casual guild, where the focus was clearing heroic. But as this wasn't a mythic raiding guild, we stopped after killing Argus twice. Since then I have been playing some other games while waiting for the next expansion.

I do not have plans on quitting the guild, just as I didn't quit the last mythic raiding guild.

Could you go further back than just the last expansion?

In WoD I raided Blackrock Foundry on a monk. We progressed through heroic and then the first two bosses on Mythic, at which point many in the guild were burned out and we stopped.
In WotlK I raided in trials of the crusader and icecrown citadel. At this point I remember healing on a druid, but it is a bit far back in my memories.
In TBC I raided in mount hyjal and black temple. I cannot remember when or why I stopped here.

I've got some pretty big doubts about this because I'm getting the impression that you've never played WoW for more than a few months at a time. We're the kind of guild who don't have the time to play WoW all that much, but want to make the most out of the time we have.
