Video Recording

Yo,

I dunno if somebody can help with this but I'm really struggling with getting some recorded videos from my machine to the net in a decent quality.

It's for some software training videos so people can watch and listen to audio but they are HUGE videos. The crappy software we tried already on the mac and PC just turns them to mush by the time they are good enough and youtube does the same. its a 2mb video and raw its 80mb and in .mov

Any body know something I can just record decent of a PC or MAC then post it to a site in swf or flv so a standard browser can useit without firing of media player or quicktime crap?

ta,
