Iron Edge New Years Meetup 2023/2024!

In what better company and location could you possibly be to get hammered on New Years than with your friends from Iron Edge in combination with Danish hospitality? Maybe if you follow Tom to a second location it might be better, but at least with us you will likely wake up in decent shape and with the same number of kidneys as you went to sleep with.

Fab has arranged with the staff of a local hotel that they open especially for us for the great price of €53 per night (private hotel hype!). We will have food, drinks, games, 3-months of (Moons) salary worth in fireworks and probably Varum and Spets, our most vindictive druids!

When: 29th of December 2023 to January 2nd 2024 - come and go as you please
Where: Fabs house, near Legoland, Denmark (https://maps.app.goo.gl/6Yj5QgXQa351HhWc9)
Who: All members of IE and whatever happens to wander into Fabs unlocked door (it happens)

Got the tickets! Arriving on the 29th at 19:20, departing on the 2nd at 10:25. Can't wait!

What a fun initiative and great to see the deal with the Hotel. ;D I will be arriving somewhere on the 30th and will be leaving on the 2nd.

If anyone wants to hitch a ride on those dates feel free to tag along!

I will be driving from Winterswijk, Netherlands > ~Billund, so if you're close to that route or want me to detour let me know.

I wrote Rash a while ago. But I'm in aslong as there is an easy way to get there and somewhere to sleep. I live i Malmö so would prefer the Copenhagen carpool route :). Please reply here or contact me on discord (Baoz5301).

Just to be sure. If you are on the attending list, do you then have a hotel reservation or what do I need to do for that?

THE PLAN:

Please check the attending list on the main page if you are coming. I saw some casual mentions on Discord that didn't post here, so please verify that you are listed.

If you don't have (Single Day Guest) by your name in the main post, we will assume full attendance and the associated costs.

29-12 Arrival for most, settle in at Fabs and the hotel. Addresses are provided on request, please DM me or Fab on Discord
30-12 Legoland
31-12 Buying stuff (fireworks, booze and snacks, presumably). A 3-course dinner will be provided for everyone for €50,-. Please let us know if you'd like to opt out. Financial contributions to the fireworks will be greatly appreciated. It is absolutely essential that we embarrass Fabs neighbours with their pathetic firework display.
01-01 Recover from the night before and chilling
02-01 Time to go home

Please organize your transportation! I had this dream last night that Spetz was stuck at CPH airport and let us know at 22:00. He had a very lonely New Years, which he will have anyway since he's not coming  :(
