Yeah I totally agree with Devlin, and I even wanna go as far as saying the SP bored me. I'm at this mission where you randomly get dropped into Vietnam and it's just lame. Kinda reminded me of CoD: WAW Asian style missions with just endless stream of identical units (like Cinn said) and all the explosions are just so many you just stop caring about it.

Also the game doesn't really have better graphics, but the game still lags the shit out of my (bad) computer when MW2 was just fine. The multiplayer will probably be OK, but that's just because they leave it to the community to balance the game (like promod for CoD4). Radio controlled mini car bombs? really? It's like sending an open invitation to children, but I can't really say that it's competitive gameplay.

I'm gonna go play the singleplayer again, and hopefully I can finish it so I can decide what to think about the whole campaign.

Respect for the games main menu though, that's kinda cool :)

The multiplayer didn't change that much, they just balanced stuff, and removed some of the bad perks/weapon attachments/killstreak rewards. But its still the same really.

I actually have serious issues understanding the dialogue -- so most of the time I have NO IDEA what's going on. I've turned down everything but 'voice', but it's still pretty bad (and then I don't get all of the BOOMS and stuff... can't win!)

Indeed, it must be very, very hard to follow in MW1's footsteps.

It's probably a problem with 5.1 sound, cut scenes often have very bad sound positioning.  Tried it with stereo?

Ah, could very well be that. I changed the default speaker type (tiny, laptop?) to 'big'... but didn't see a surround option. Will check.

The game probably uses your windows sound settings to determine if it's 5.1 or stereo.  Can change it in the sound options in control panel somewhere.

If you're after competition settings wait for promod. The vanilla game is all about Arcade style fun and giggles, as was mw1, mw2 and waw. Given that, I totally resent complaints about an rc toy car rigged withexplosives. If you can't see the humour and fun in that then you have no soul!

Remote controlled cars with bombs attached. They ruin the game. RUIN IT.
