H?d?s DW frost DPS DK application for a-raid

Personal info:

Greetings IE, I am Antoine,aged 36 living in the Netherlands and happily married for 3.5 years.
When not roaming around in WoW I work as foreman/mechanic in a bicycle factory since 1996.

Character info:

When roaming around in WoW I am known as H?d?s, lvl 80 tauren DK.

I started this char 2 months after the release of WotLK as blood DPS and leveled it to 80.
When I started raiding as blood I was unhappy and decided to have a look into DW frost wich seemed to be good at that point, however all good things come to an end and I was forced into UH for better performance.
The blizzard gods seemed to be in my favor when they fixed the frost tree and I could go back to the DW frost again and I stayed till present day.
At present I am trying to work my way arround the changes in 4.0.1 and learn about best gems, enchants and reforging.

When required I would offcourse not hesitate to change spec for better performance.

Raiding:

I can adjust my socializing to any roster and I am generaly available from 19:00-0:00 server time.
Simply put: I can raid 4-5 days a week.

Wow history:

I bought this game actually for my wife few weeks after its very first release,Installed it for her and created an account.I told her to hang on while I test it and after you can play.after few hours of "testing" I told her to buy another copy.
I started out as alliance with a couple of friends in Templars of Steel and stayed there till shortly after WotLK.
untill that I spend my time leveling toons and join a raid whenever there was an oppertunity and spend a lot of time in BG's.
When I took a few characters to lvl 80 I started to be unhappy and went out seeking a raiding guild because I wanted to spend more time in PvE and see more of what the game has to offer.I applied to The Garrison and got accepted with my DK being main char.raiding 2 nights a week 25 man content made me happy and enjoy the game more then ever and even more when I became DK CO.
Al things good till start of this year where our 25 man slowly started to die and it got harder to get a raid going each week and with filling it with more casual players the quality got worse and I was forced into 10 man only to get my LK and Halion kills.

Besides WoW I also play SC2, RA3 and I have a PS3 and WII with some funny games to chill out outside WoW.

Why do you want to join IE:

I know there will be people hating the fact that I have been alliance and it was not an easy choice to faction change.With the way ally looks atm and the guilds that are arround there is only very few names that I remember from back in the old days IE being one of them.I just seek to be in a guild that is respected and not likely to disband or migrate in the near future and I feel apply here in IE is a good choice.

What can I offer to IE:

I can offer nothing more then myself, being loyal to a good community and always there to lend a hand to people when needed.
I am dedicated to my tasks and take critics towards my performance very well since thats the way to improve .

Last words:

I know my gear and high end knowledge aren't completely up to your requirements but my application is more aimed towards the comming of Cataclysm and it would give me something to put 150% efford in and being completely up to date when reaching 85 when accepted.

Blood was the best spec and they MURDERED IT!!

Anyway, i bet you saw me spamming my recruitment macro like there was no tomorrow!

Could you provide us with a more detailed list of your raid experience please?
What stats are you aiming to reforge? ARMORY SUCKS

For the raid experience: Naxx 10-25 cleared
                         Ulduar 10-cleared 25 I missed yogg
                         ToC normal 10-25 cleared
                         ToC HC 10, 4-5, 25 we never attempted as guild
                         ICC normal 10 cleared, 25 6/12 then our 25 died
                         ICC HC 10 6/12 , 25 none

Yes indeed no reforging done yet, I dont wanna waste gold on wrong reforging, but as we speak I am doing extensive studies on all.
As it seems I have way too much hit( I read 8% -3% from talents should be enough ) if this seems to be really the case I will reforge it to exp till cap, 600 haste seems to be the goal and since I have 607 now I will go for mastery mainly after exp.
This is from what I learned so far.

The reason for applying here to a-raid is that I want stricter raids, I am just tired of having raids where half of the ppl dont show up or be late, dont read/learn about tactics and are completely unprepared and not paying attention when RL explains and positions ppl.

You can still reforge Herkuml War Token's Haste into Mastery, also the expertise cap is no longer 26 but 23 so if there's a better way of achieving this by reforging it's probably better

No excuses here...I simply forgot to do the trinket .
I tuned down the exp to 23(never actually read it was lowered).
The hit I cannot lower more, all hit is reforged now .

@ this point who knows what will happen untill cata so i guess we shoud trial them both and see how it goes.

Yep, 3 DKs sounds good for Cataclsym. It's a pretty under-subscribed class in general in the guild.
