Roache 65 feral druid recruitment
« on: February 13, 2007, 12:13:48 am »
hi Iron Edge

i have been talking with some of the guildmates from iron edge and i got very interested in joining the guild.
im a 16 year old boy from Denmark but i speak english very well.  :D
i have been in the guild Opprimo where ive done alot of pvping but now i want to do some TBC raiding.
im very often in instances (5 men) as Dps and tank.

I'm a friendly and helpfull player with humor ;) But i can still be serious ofc.
Right now i am wearing magic and rare gear, except for 1 WL (60) set item.
In tanking stuff i have 12000 armor and 9400 hp, just in case if wanted to know :) But i am ofc working on getting better gear from different 5 men instances atm.

I play often WoW and i would like to raid as often as i can.

Hope you can see me as a member of Iron Edge, cause i am very interested in joining Iron Egde.

See you in the game players :P

Greetings Roache.

What is it with danes being feral :-)

I think the raiders need some more info like when will you hit 70 and actually be ready to raid.

How much time do you have to raid? everyday from 19-24?

Seeing that you have only reached lvl 65 so far you dont really sound like a hardcore player, more like a casual like myself.

Did you only do pvp before expansion?

I dont think a lot of IE members are serious :)

What about healing man? I dont think the guild will need 90% druids as feral when the warriors should be tanking in the end game instances and if you try it Treeform is very effective healing power in 5-man aswell.

There is plenty of feral druids around these days you know.

Anyway you can whisper Shiftey and make his life harder in game. GL.

Well i ain't a über hardcore player, and yes Danes chose feral cause it owns :)

I was thinking of respecing to healing. but that should be around 68-69. Cause it sucks to lvl as resto!

The main reason for im not hardcore player atm, is because its my last year in school. But i should could get 70 soon :) i'll ofc do my best..

And yes i did only pvp before TBC. i started my char sometime before TBC, and got 60 2-3 weeks before tbc =/ thats why my gear aint full Epix WL :)

Do you have any thoughts as to your builds at resto? perhaps you could list them with your thoughts?

Also, do you have experience as healing? If so too what degree?

I'd also like to know are you a fan of +healing or more a spirit regen fan? Topping the heal meters or ensuring you will be ready to cover gaps if required!

Finally,

DO you like trees?
DO axes make you nervous?

If you have pie to you prefer meat (ie steak and kidney) or a dessert pie? ( ie. Apples?)

Im sure a little more info when our glorious druid leader comments he will be better placed for a response :)

Cheers and good luck Roache!

P

In denmark we dont eat steak or kidney pies. Applepie is quite common though. <3

We are more francophile in Denmark, we tend to eat Quiches.

Since he only did pvp I guess his pvehealing experience is quite limited.

Hi Roache

thx for you application and interest in Ironedge.
Unfortunatly we have alot of active Druids atm so there isnt a place available, we have a 5+ raiders and some Casuals plus a few old school druids who have returned with TBC.
if any places become available we usually look bak at previous applications so it would be within your interest to collect some Healing gear as well as Feral with will give you good experience in both areas.

thx for your application and gl wherever you go from here.

Having Legolew as an assistent is definitely great in one way. He always answers faster than me.
And leveling in restoration is actually quite fun Roache.

Now a bit seriously. First your application lacked information about your availability, your current gear, when you count to get level 70. I would like to make a point here, that I'd prefer to take somebody on 70 already so he can actively participate in raiding and questing. You certainly dont lack enthousiasm.

Unfortunately, as Legolew already pointed out, we have lot of active druids at the moment and currently dont need any. But keep leveling and getting new gear of all kind (especially feral and resto). When we are in need of druids, we usually take older applications and reconsider them.

Thank you

Shiftey
