Alice: Madness Returns
« on: June 21, 2011, 10:45:17 pm »
this game... this game was one of the reason i forgot to post in the mafia thread
IT IS JUST SO DAMN GOOD

just this track alone is damn good JUST LISTEN TO IT

this game is a kind of platformer i would call it anyway

Basicly you are playing Alice in wonderland except... well except Alice is insane
wonderland is a twisted refection of her own mind

sad to say i havent played the first game called American McGee's Alice which this is a sequel off but i heard it was very very good

Grish is being a little bit over-excited about things - but if you get a kick out of really tight art direction and so forth, and enjoyed platformers like banjo kazooie, you'll probably enjoy this too. Though, as with that kind of game, it's also nice to have a control pad to play with rather than a keyboard.

Skimmed through some reviews, basically it's a masterpiece that suffers from bad game design. It has all the pieces there to become one, but they're all smashed in poorly and rushed... Which is a damn shame because dear lord it looks pretty.

Hmm, I DLed this but only saw a shit review about it, so I already put it on the "maybe play it someday" aka "never touch again".

i heard there were lots of graphical issues but so far i have found none
that might just be on the console though

also its funny how all the critics find the game shit but if you see the user reviews on metacritic (for the pc version anyway dunno about the console versions) it has a 9.0 average

also goza you spend 2 hours playing duke nukem and yet you refuse to even give this even half the time

its not like you bought it

Eh? 75 isn't what I'd classify as 'shit'... given the standard gameplay, that's fine but nothing special, that seems pretty fair to me
