The coffee corollary: The diverging amounts of text
« on: March 10, 2010, 07:58:47 am »
At least until you learn the hard way why people write these applications in Open Office.

Pulling a all-nighter and I got nothing better to do. So I thought I'd do the same as Sintrael and express my desire to once again raid with the B-raid.

Also, I have never written an application before, so I thought I'd try it out! After all, I did «leave».

I know Hugman and Grilly are up to their necks in trialists, but I thought I'd give it a shot anyways. Superkåre and Decayus will probably emoquit eventually!

Or accidentally assasinate themselves while sleeping.. by accident..

Why I won't «leave» again:

Cold turky didn't work for me. I ended up filling the gaps (and quite a bit more) with other silly games.

I'm addicted to games, and I guess wow is the lesser of an endless amount of evils. At least if I can maintain some level of casualness.

That's where the B-raid plays it's part. I guess it was just some small «pre-exam-crisis», or the fact that TOC was the most boring instance ever created which made me leave in the first place.

Why you should pick me:

I'm the mild version of  the «all or nothing» guy. I can live with two raids a week, I actually prefer it, but I can't stand mediocrity.

I'm very competitive, and dps easily becomes a competition. All it takes is one small remark from Vorte, and I chugg Wild Magic potions like a mad man.

And to point out (while being very modest) that I am quite intelligent, PVE is not hard and I have never had any problems mastering a boss fight.

Running out of coffee and the frequency of toiletbreaks is increasing rapidly, so in short:

Take me back! Please! I'll do anything! I'm bored and I miss our time together! I regret leaving! That one time with Marte was a mista... Wait, now I'm in the wrong letter.

Arch out

Are you finally at the stage where you don't have to leave raids to have dinner with your parents? :P
Now I run a tech website.

Hohoh, yes I'm all grown up now! My vanilla raiding would've been a lot easier if we had the same raiding times that you have now. Raids from 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays? Bad!

I'm still not officially raiding with the B-Raid, so you don't have to worry about me :p

Good luck!

So you stopped playing and left the b-raid, because of RL-issues.

So how come you are applying with a warlock and not your DK?

Bears like alts!

Hi Arch.

Well, what to do with this one.

As far as Warlocks go, we have Vorte and Superfk, who, dispite being filthy pvper's; are very good at what they do, and have shockingly proven themselves reliable (in 25man PVE at least). We have Decayus, as an unreliable standby, but I wasn't really looking for another lock, with all these shiny new ranged dps classes to choose from (Shadow Priest, Moonkin, etc). Also, you many have noticed, we are swimming in trialists, and spots are few, and completion is high. So you are gonna have to work hard to prove you are worth giving another try.

Secondly, there is the issue of your last "Arches" in the B-raid, who we had geared up into a DPS machine, and then lost. Even before you left, your attendance was getting irregular, and communication about attendance (from you) was poor. Quite frankly the B-raid has moved on since then, and its not tolerated.

Basically I am not convinced that you are reliable enough, to give a trialist spot to at this point, over some other, who wants it more. I need more convincing. Grilly should also weigh in on his opinions on this issue, and we will think about it.
