Hello there people, here comes my application for the Iron Edge B-raid team, hope you enjoy reading.
I’ll start with some of the basic personal information, introducing the person behind the character and screen. I’m a 17 year old guy from the southern Sweden in a town called Gislaved. My name is Sebastian Åqvist and currently I’m doing a welding program study. In my spare time I’m spending time with my friends chillin’ and all that, and then I’m using a good amount of time online World of Warcraft. I havn’t played many more MMO’s than Wow, only recently I’ve started to try out Heroes Of Newerth with some friends just to see how it is. Seing that I’m studying and still under the age of 18. I’m still living home, at my mom’s and Stepdads place along with my smaller brother.

Character Information
My application goes for my Female Orc Warrior called Anasis, I’m playing her as the fury talent tree specialization, which I really fell in love with. Mostly because I like the idea of dualweilding twohanded weapons, it really suits me well. I’m using the most common Fury specc I’d suppose, 18/53/0.  I love playing Fury and I’ve been playing it for a good while now. I’m really comfortable with my specc and I would say I really done my theory-crafting to optimize my performance.

Previous guild and server history
I first played on Balnazzar, I wouldn’t consider it much worth to mention, it really was my first times in this game. Then I stopped for some time because the account got hacked and later on banned for some weird reason. Then I took up Wow again on the Vek’nilash server, were I started playing this warrior, and I just fell in love with it, I did quite some raiding in a guild called Fairyfish on that server. After some time I transfered to Dunemaul because of real life friends, and I joined Fallen From Grace which I’ve been in until recently when I decided to take my resignation from their ranks. The reasons are of personal causes between guildmaster and me. After he kicked a lot of the people I talked to, the guild wouldn’t be the same for me.

Raiding history
In Vanilla WoW I played very little only some casual fun raiding, so only did Zul’Gurub.

In The Burning Crusade I did a little more raiding.

Zul’Aman: Cleared, did a bear run but I didn’t get the bear
Gruul’s Lair: Cleared
Magtheridon: Cleared
The Eye: All up to Kael’Thas
Serpentshrine: Cleared
Mount Hyjal: Ragewinter Chill done
Black Temple: High Warlord Naj’entus killed
Sunwell Plateau: Killed Kalecgos
I quitted the game in the End of Season 4.


Now too my raiding progress :
Wrath of the Lich King is nearly fully done
Naxxramas: Cleared
Obsidian Sanctum: Cleared, 3drake 25man done + 10man 3drake.
The Eye of Eternity: Cleared
Ulduar 10man: Full clear besides Algalon, all Hardmodes done for the Rusted drake.
Ulduar 25man: Full clear besides Algalon too, and Missing few Achievements for the Iron-Bound drake
Trial of the Grand Crusade 10man: Cleared, Tribute to Skill is done.
Trial of the Crusade 25man: Cleared
Trial of the Grand Crusade 25man: Never really set foot there since my guild couldn’t do it
Icecrown Citadel 10man: Cleared
Icecrown Citadel 25man: Cleared


Why do I want to Join Iron Edge?
I’ve heard lots of good things about Iron Edge, and I would like to be a part in a strong raiding communitive like Iron Edge. Not only have they got a strong A-raid team but the B-team is also doing fine. Recently my good friend from my old guild, Eëtion, joined Iron Edge’s B-team, and I would like to experience more of the encounters with him.

What can I contribute to Iron Edge?
I’m a solid raider who turns up for raids and don’t mind progressing, always prepared with flasks, food and what might be needed like that, including a smile.

Anyway, I played with anasis today in a TOC 25 pug with my warrior made by Eetion. This guy is good, he seems to have some brains at least. His gear is quite awesome also! We competed about who does more damage, but I think that he could do alot more when he get's his real PC. Currently playing on laptop reduces fps, and we all know fps is bad

Hey Hug & Grilly, this is the guy I said I'd get to apply, gets my vote at least and if we get him we have three stable warriors. Anyway he has experience, brains and competitive damage! Good luck mate.

Your gear choices are really really strange. You've got double the expertise you need to cap, +100 more hit rating than you need and apparantly at the expense of your crit which is incredibly low. You seem averse to agi items - using that str/hit/crit badge ring over the dextrous brightstone ring is a fat gimp. In addition your gemming seems confused; you've gemmed for arp about halfway, way over the softcap for when DBW's arp proc goes off, but miles away from hardcap.

tbh I wouldn't have even commented, but for the part where you said you've done a lot of theorycrafting as your item choice and gemming choice seems very confused.

Reason of my high expertise is my axes, they were both a better choice than my old ones, and ive got 210 hit now, due too a changed helmet,

and too the agi, we had " hunter/rogue prio " on serveral items, so nothing i could do:p

and too the ring i was too late on changing back. and the rings are better now, currently using the Ashen verdict ring.

Armor penetration wise, what would you recommend?

That expertise is pretty ridiculously high, I would advise maybe trying to get the new crafted legs-

Or even gunning for the legplates of ascension or some leather alternative. That whole chunk of expertise benefits you in no way at all, in fact you are almost parry capped?

I was actually totally wrong about the arp - forgot the dbw proc isn't that high (only 600) - you're doing it 100% right already there.

Also sounds like you know what needs fixing too, and the bizarre hunter/rogue loot priority thing would explain how you got screwed over for loot rather than having made bad choices on gear.
