Title: Magnolia

I thought this was a great movie.  Even at 3 hours long, it kept me hooked the whole way through!

A review from somebody far better at them than I:

The method of the rapid cut/dialogue film has been used excessively since the early Tarintino successes. Magnolia is an example of that genre at its best. The method used is similar to mixing the sense of movement used in Three Kings with the messaging attempts of American Beauty, but here the product is not simply additive. Where American Beauty suggests, Magnolia boldly declares in some of the best writing that I have ever experienced, if not the best. The cuts are so well interwoven that every scene is fresh and inviting. Julianne Moore and Tom Cruise are breath taking, while the rest of the cast combines very enjoyable acting with the well supplied dialogue. Oscars are well deserved for Cruise and Moore, and are a must for Anderson's screenplay. Easily the best movie of the year, it makes my second choice, American Beauty, seem sophomoric.

Makes me want to re-watch it, now that I'm older!

I think quote text needs to be small, lest those quote-spammers take over the entire thread :P

I loved it. I think its the only movie that long that I have watched more than twice.
