So

We're doing loads of interesting stuff, once the league is done, we'll probably do a 1v1 tournament until we start season 2 (I'm thinking 2 weeks break, and squeeze a one week tournament in there)

perhaps we'll do a league instead?

Whatever we do, we will continue doing something.

Now, I'd love to have people try their hands at mapmaking. Make sure they're balanced and clever, and I will incorporate them in our 1v1 tournament, after some testing.

If I get 5 good maps out of this, I'll actually do the 1v1 tourney on IE maps ONLY.

Go nuts! Create some maps.

The map editor is really easy to use.

I used the SC1 one a lot, and it's basically the same but updated with a bunch of extra WC3 editor style things added in. You can see they learnt a lot from WC3.

I'm working on a map presently that I hope will be ready for the next round of games, starting thursday :) Some features of the editor takes a short time to get used to, but it's not so bad once you spend a little time on it.

I wont change the map-set for the current league, but if it's good enough we'll be using custom maps in the 1v1 tournament following this league.
