Anonymous, movie directed by Ronald Emmerich (Independance Day, Stargate, Patriot, Gozilla, The Day After Tomorrow) and written by John Orloff (Band of Brothers, Legends of the Guardians).

I'd say it's a kind of movie for more demanding viewer, not for people who like big explosions and guns with unlimited ammo. The story is based around Shakespeare not being who we think he was. Everything is happening on the background of power struggle for the throne of England.

The story is certainly epic. Full of surprises, suspense, unexpected twists. If you like the movies Queen Elizabeth and Elizabeth: Golden Age, this is definitely a movie for you.

Also if you like CGI shots of the old London, you'll be drooling over this one.

However what can be a little confusing in the movie is the way they jump from one timeline to another, from one frame to another, back and forth so many times, you really have to be on your toes to keep following the story. But despite this, I can only recommend.
