Title: Weekend Raider Application - Paladin (Healer) - Pristrullz
Post by: Applicant on May 14, 2017, 05:05:21 pm
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying for the Weekend Raid.

Character: Pristrullz
Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Kazzak/Pristrullz/advanced
Class/Spec: Paladin (Healer)
Member Type: wraider

Personal Info:

My name is Marius, 23 years old and i'm currently a law student in Bucharest, Romania.

Class/Spec:

I mainly spec Holy for PVE with a 893 ilvl, with a Retri off-spec, 890 ilvl(which I use for WQ and/or PVP). I like playing HPaladin as it is, in my opinion the most adaptable healer class on this patch, with high versatility, high burst heal on demand and a good damage mitigation for single target. Also, its AoE healing capabilities have been improved, making it one of the best(if not the best) healer on this patch, for both Mythic+ and Raids.

My main rotation consists of HS crits into FoL/HL casts, depending on the situation, using Bestow Faith on CD. On the 5th tier I prefer Holy Avenger to Divine Purpose, as I can rotate between it and Avenging Wrath, thus keeping a constant amount of healing going, even though Divine Purpose may be more mana efficient and it is considered the overall better choice. I have tried both and I think it is a matter of personal choice. I also spec Sanctified Wrath on the 6th tier, as I was lucky enough to get the legendary belt^^

Alts:

I have a 876 ilvl Holy/Disc Priest which I mainly use for dungeons(and LFRs)

Professions:

My profession? Well....i'll be a prosecutor soon:>. Oh, you mean the in-game professions....Obviously mining(778) + blacksmithing(800) with which I can craft the fel core hound harness :)

Raiding Experience:

I do have some raiding experience with my old guild on the EN patch. However, I didn't have the chance to go on mythic, as it was a pretty casual raiding guild, but as far as raiding goes, I have always played a healer.

Previous Guilds:

Nerds in Paradise, as I recall. It was a casual weekend guild, but the members moved on another realm or quit playing, so the guild was abandoned :(

Availability:

This might be a little tricky, as currently I am in the final exams period and I'm also a senior law student, preparing for the bar examination which will take place at the end of August. But I am available on weekends and sometimes in the evening during weekdays. However, if something happens and I can't be on for the raid, I will always notify the officers in advance.

Communication:

I would say i'm pretty proficient in English, as I also have a Cambridge Certificate and I've been studying since I was in primary school. TeamSpeak- Check. Ears- Check. Mic-Check.

Computer / Connection:

Although I don't have a high-end pc, apart from the common dalaran loading screen, I have a stable 30-35 fps in raiding. No internet problems as of yet(hope it remains that way)

Addons/UI:

Now I only have HealBot, as it is very easy to use and I've grown accustomed to it and its use. I did have DBM and Recount, but I didn't update them(seeing as I haven't done any hardcore raiding on this patch)

Other Games:

In my spare time, I play Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone ^^

Why Iron Edge?

I have heard it is a good guild, with a good community of players and I hope I can fit in and learn from the other players and have a good time.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

My strong and reliable heals which will sustain us to greatness ;)

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

From two of my friends whom i've known for a long time

Last Words?

I'm looking forward to raiding with your guild and thank you for reviewing my application
