Morning gentle WoW folk. My name is Lee. most people call me Akko but my druid is called "Payu". I'm 29 and work as a technical director for a tracking firm relating to mobile phones (this is what kept me away from WoW). I live in Ipswich, England which is where I was born.

However, I would be lying if I said my resto gear compared to this. white healing is 1067 as I have not respecced at this time pending application results. I would envisage a pvp resto spec. Happy for full 0/0/61 if thats current druid requirements.

Why do I want to join Iron Edge?

I want to come home.

What can I offer to Iron Edge?

I always enjoy playing with IE people. raiding, pvp or just helping out a few quest items here and there. Always been helpful and hopefully I am remembered fondly for being there hardcore in Naxx and healing. I take pride in having to do nothing but rank 1 rejuv from sick gear back in those days lol.

I can tank and dps in my current state and have been through heroics as tank more times than i can remember.

I lack the UBRS ring...I hope this wont effect my application.

Raiding

Everyday from 6-7pm UK time till late. weekends a bit less but can be onhand if required but any issues I will always ensure class leader or raid leader is fully aware with ample time before I vanish days before hand.


Gaming History

Well gaming started in about 1984 ish with an Atari 2600 or Dragon32 maybe a little later whenever my dad bought them. But ill skip that! Online gaming is wee bit more recent and I started that with Half-Life which then gave birth to counter-strike and other than LAN sessions I avoided other games online and just played with mates.

I kept an eye on the WoW site way back when it was pretty much just registered as Blizzard games always lit me up. I signed up for the open beta and rolled a paladin to lvl 32. Back then seeing a guy on a mount was worthy of worship and respect. I then rolled the same class on a PvP server when it was released and got to lvl 60. MC was pretty much getting started then and i had a nice big guild I was the leader off. Lots of good players like myself that didnt want raiding but loved instances (remember this was when doing 5man strat or scholo was just painful so having great players was awesome).

However I lost interest in the class (please remember the paladins today are NOTHING like they were then). So for fun I rolled a rogue on dunemaul named Qwameut. at about lvl 3 i met zxyu, great guy and miss seeing him around. Eventually I took the rogue on far less casual and eventually ended up with the best on the server pre MC for a rogue. felstriker he still carries but i degress! So I applied to Iron Edge with the help of zxyu who I had known through the whole time and the rest you know.

Last Words.

I applied as raider because thats what I do in IE. I'm quite happy sitting around waiting for a slot and many times have been at raid locations incase a druid was unable to attend or an additional healbot was required. I also have a number of alts and people know me not being online doesnt quite mean I am not. Zaero is my 29 warrior twink. Karnmonghem is my 60 warlock (who had the pleasure of handing out health stones one naxx run.). Qwameut 60 rogue. Ammonia 61 hunter. Also a 60 paladin still exists and a 60 mage on another server.

Final Final attempted bribe aimed at mages....

I have a wonderful technique for farming the mage book in ZG for turtle tank/healer and the mage.

I had 1.1 million but i ated them

my leet sub still exists, playing at 20,000 leagues always gets the blood pumping!

I understand raiding is chocka and I'd never step on a raiders toes although I would love raiding i'd rather be IE than raid elsewhere. As long as im part of the effort and maybe not the instance im still a team player!

Heya, the bear himself is back from baer country (Austria)... Just to sum things up: No, I do not think you're likely to get a raiding slot anytime soon (unless you gear up drastically and Hotix/Dookie disappear), but I guess it could be possible in WotLK? As Palmar said, there's lots of non-25 man raiding going on where anyone is free to join, so I doubt you'd be bored.

If you're willing to join as F&F, I can easily offer you a spot back in IE, so let's talk once we both get online at the same time?
