I'm sure Bifftanner can advise you when he sees this post...

Edit: I can recommend Razorlight as some kind of 'brit pop' perhaps? No clue if that's what they are, but they're quite good, and easy to listen to :)

haha... i am not really a brit pop lover! but here goes...

(not sure how many of these band will be british though but same genre-ish)
*note there are not many band like the arctic monkeys*

Kaiser Chiefs
kasabian
tom vek
the Zutons
the Killers
libertines
snow patrol
razorlight
embrace
richard ashcroft

however, for true taste of britpop you should look to the oldschool more... the likes of:

oasis
blur
ocean colour scene (my favorite)
verve
pulp
cast
kula shaker
elastica
shed seven
supergrass

or failing that! get a better taste in music as most britpop is trash music with a very short shelf life!

Ah man, we had some awesome bands back in the day!

I still listen to Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene and the Verve on a weekly basis.

What about the Lightning Seeds, or are they a bit cheesy? :P
