So they released the first trailer during the night (sneaky americans!). Looks pretty awesome to be honest, but will have to wait for some gameplay material to be sure.
-
Holy shitballs!
-
Nice trailer. Shit screen resolution thou.
The most interesting part of the release will prob be whether they managed to get over the loss of most of the Infinity Ward leads. At least ex-Visceral Games Sledgehammer Studios is helping them out (the guys that made the awesome Dead Space 1). Multiplayer, however, is handled by Raven Software. That sounds like megafail.

Mw2 is the only fps game that really gave me something since Counter Strike, my expections on Mw3 are high.
I do hope they allow dedicated servers on Mw3
-
Given the lack of developer pedigree and what the predecessor was, I can only see this being pretty much a carbon copy but with more fail. Who knows though, could yet be good.
-
I am only interested in the storyline now. Let's see what happens to our Captain Price and "Soap" MacTavish and Nikolai to conclude the trilogy, let's hope it's not something retarded like fuck
-
oO
Someone actually followed the story?
Well, my hopes are on Sledgehammer Studios for at least a good single-player experience. Which is all I'll play anyway.
-
Well the story in MW1 was awesome, the second one was already a little far-fetched and now this trailer looks like it's just gonna be a pile of shit. But overall I liked the campaign a lot.

I never knew who was who/where/why or even which character I was currently playing.

Thats how it feels like to be older than life itself.

Meh, still awaiting BF3 will prob stick with that imo

Some guy just released gameplay which takes in NY.
I don't know this one is beta or alpha or whatever it's but i couldn't see any massive graphical improvement ( still better than Black Ops ) and as far i loved the extra sight on weapon and some new granade with some firework(?) effects.
Also still no trace of Soap and Price...

Feels very much like rehashed mw2 now - I think if you took someone who didn't know mw2 intimately and showed them that, they'd probably not know it wasn't the same game. Graphics starting to look pretty dated too, especially in the face of Crysis 2 and the upcoming BF3, although considering the engine is basically ancient they're doing okay with what they're working with.
-
Also Activation fired most of the Infinity Ward crew months ago, noone honestly was waiting for a huge improvement.
-
Terrible compression doesn't really allow much feedback regarding gfx. What I really don't like is how frickin grey everything is. Not sure whether thats some artistic hue filter or compression, too. Anyway it makes it look cheap.
There's some pretty nice streaming and scripting. Anyway, seeing how "realistic" those modern shooters want to be, that stuff shown is so hillariously over the top, srsly...
Also, the usual gameplay. Duck&strafe&aimShooting, sniping, on-rail-gun. Well, more of the same, as expected.

So.. It has been released roughly 12 hours ago and it seems noone plays MW3 ( or too busy to talk about it. )
Am i the only one who's playing it here?
Anyone anyone? :'(

I've had a copy since last Friday - console though.
Boring rehash is boring. I struggle to see what the multiplayer side of things has been doing for 2 years, most of the changes are to mix things up a bit but nothing actually feels that much different - apart from the horrible horrible auto aim.
Worth a rent for the campaign but its been completely dwarfed by BF3 in my eyes, rightfully so.
