Myself
Hi Iron Edge.
My names Chris, Im 26years old although I feel about 40. Ive recently become a dad to a beautiful little man, but he is a very noisy and nocturnal chapp, hence feeling older than my years. I manage a shop Hawkins Bazaar, for those who do not know its gadgets and toys. Im also currently working on my first novel which could be published in 2012 if i get my thumb out and get it done. I have a publisher interested its now just a matter of wrapping it up.
Im origionally from Guildford but grew up in both Hampshire and London, My family are from Bow in London home of the Cockneys, But I can asure you Im no dodgy Del boy, Ive just moved to the Portsmouth area after 8 years living in Surrey with my wife.
Im a polite and mature person who is always willing to help other games as much as possible.
The Craft
Ive just come back after a long stint away, trying to intergrate with "society" but like minion of the lichking I have folded, my will was not strong enough. It does not help when all your friends keep mentioning it. Currently Im lvling up and helping my brother out whos pretty new to the game and my mate Milks aka Matt who is having to start from scratch.
I used to play back when it was just burning crusade as a fire mage, did all the instances and a few raids but found the PVP side more to my taste, especially now as time is short for me in the evenings. This time around I have gone for a Gobo rogue and love stealthing into alliance towns stripping off and streaking, wearing only my goggles, waving my little green butt at them.
Finally Im no poser I dont want to be in the guild purely to have the honour of baring its name, I want to join to help out where I can. Socialise with my friends in guild and make new friends in time.
GAMES
I started with such titles as simon the sorcerer and neverwinter nights years ago and fell in love with morrowind I spent far to long reading into the lore of it. I discovered WOW during a gap year at university, I say gap year truthfully I traded my life for the game. But it was woth it. It was introduced to me by 3 mates who corrupted me and the rest is history.
Apart from WOW I am addicted to RPGs Morrowind, Oblivion,NWN 1 & 2, The Witcher. Fantasy more than fiction for me I do enjoy a good fps but prefer the feeling of progression in a game.
The Sponsers
Mine would have to be my old flat mate Andy aka "Fruitbat", Andy aka "Kodin", the unforgettable Ben "Abyiss" and Matt aka "Milks". It was them who taught me everything I know.
Thats Abyiss in the foreground .. and me giving him evils !!!!

Nice guy, even if he does like to "bend" the truth! Hah love ya chris.
Definitely worth an invite.
"Hi hi i pwnz j0o!"

I know my two cents ain't worth much, but Chris seems a real nice and mature guy - levelled with and chatted with him! Nice people seem pretty hard to find in WoW these days.. the game seems to rot them. Ninja him while he's still polite and well spoken!
-
ps he's probably a dodgy Del boy :-*
-
hey chris
awesome guy and friend to have around,
so gieeeef an invite :D
-
Even though he didnt mention me.. i do know this guy from drinking in the kingston, and bumming around his student house :P
Tis a naise guy :)
-
Friend of the fella's down south = friend of mine.
Good luck :)
-
I was convinced when Kerenza gave the thumbs up, but then Doomslay had to call him a friend of his, and I lost all confidence. :P
Your forum account should work now btw, Grizzak :)
-
Thought I'd say that this was my original sentence:
The guy in the background of that picture looks like he wants you dead.
But then I actually read the post instead of just looking at pretty pictures. :D
-
Why are these goons applying on your account, Abyiss?
-
Signing up to the forum is hard :(
-
I believe it's the part where you need to ask an officer for permission is hard.
-
Yeh they wanted to post asap, but getting access can take weeks.
so its just easyer for me to post it for them.
-
They have all made forum accounts but have not had them activated.
-
Well, when they make a forum account, there's a sentence that says 'YOU HAVE TO ASK ON IRC FOR YOUR ACCOUNT TO BE ACTIVATED'.
It's a basic English literacy test, you see.
-
You can ask in-game, too. Or ask your friend to ask someone for you.
-
It actually says it 2 or 3 times actually. Before you register, possibly after you register, and In the email you get sent after registering.
Basically it's a good way of stripping out lazy shits that CBA to read.
... not that that applies to your two good friends, of course :P
-
hah lol :P i kinda just wanted them to apply asap too.
Plus .. not used IRC since 1999 :P
-
Scrol up a bit and check the 'join our mega-exciting chat now' link.
-
I know it seems lazy getting ben to apply for myself but he was very persistant that I made a request to join asap so we could keep intouch better and help each other out where possible. Im also not the most literate net user I love games, but navigating forums is not a strong point of mine. And as for time its soooo precious as when im not feeding and burping my lad im ingame.
So I hope this explains why Ben aka Abyiss did it for me. There is also the mild pressure to not sound like a complete tit infront of the top guild.

Congrats, you failed.
(Just kidding :D)
-
Oh, Abiyss actually wrote the application? I thought you had just written it using his account.
How about the other guy who applied, did he write it, or did Abiyss?
-
I don't think thats what he meant Delling. I highly doubt Ben wrote that for him, that's not his writing style for a start, and i'm sure he knows that would render the whole point of an application meaningless.
-
Everyone knows abyiss communicates with grunts not words
-
Not enough spelling errors to be Abyiss, he is dyslexic as a proper beast.
-
Abyiss said I should apply. But as I said Im not very literate reguarding forums and whilst trying to post an application he said to write an app and email it to him and he would pass it on. Thata why he posted it.
And Matt aka sidestep is correct in noticing the style of writing as ben is more blunt. And would make derogitary statements. His style would be to embarrise me hence the bad bad picture of me giving evils. What a good mate. honestly he is
-
ok!
Poke an officer for an invite.
