Post by: Souless on July 01, 2009, 12:03:15 am
Before i start typing my application for Iron Edge I want to say Hello all  :P
and here we go

Personal Information
My name is Blago, and i`m from Bulgaria.Currently I live in its capital Sofia and Im currently a student in a university.I`m 23and at the moment I have 3 goals

Goals:
1.To get my exams with an 6(excellent mark) hehe ;D
2.Unleashing the beast in me and start raiding in the real meaning of the word
3.Be kind with people I`m surrounded by.

Characters Information:
Well i have 10 characters on Dunemaul but only 2 of them are important,dps-ing, and making the devil cry. ::)

Character 1 (main)
Name: Souless
Level: 80
Race: Blood Elf
Class: Rogue
Talent Specializations: Combat 15/51/05 (doh...) which i`m using for PVE
Assassination 46/00/25 which i`m using for PVP

WoW Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Souless

Note*: WoW armory currently is showing my weak PVP items hope it will reset before most of you see the link.

Character 2 (Main alt)
Name: Grimmjou
Level: 80
Race: Tauren
Class: Druid
Talent Specializations: Feral (Cat) 00/55/16 which I use for PVE
Restoration 14/00/57 and throwing heals with it in my PVP team and some Battlegrounds.

WoW armory link : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Grimmjou

Raiding:
Well since i study i got a lot of free time   ;D (i`m serious here) i can raid every day after 14:00 PM realm time but if there are important raids earlier things can be arranged :P as long as i`m notified on time.

Gaming (optional) and World Of Warcraft history:
Because i started playing WoW after the release of TBC my lvl 60 raiding experience is missing :/

The Burning Crusade
Well i cleared most of the 10 and 25 man raids i`ll do a full list of what i have done right bellow:

Karazhan:    A lot of trade channel pugs which were actually successful.
Zul'Aman:    Full runs every week with "The Black Fury"
Maghteridon's Lair:    Very few cleared runs with "The Black Fury"
Gruul's Lair (my favourite raid):    Cleared !
SSC:    Hadn't got the chance to do it because by the time i was aiming Tsunami Talisman for my rogue there was no interest for that raid :/
Tempest Keep:    The Eye - Cleared
Black Temple:    w000t w000t dream for warglaivies but no success ... done several raids with RM people as lvl 70 and once as lvl 80 for achievement.
Sunwell Plateau:    only trash grinding for schematics.

Wrath of The Lich King:
OS 10: Cleared normally
OS 25: Cleared normally

Naxx 10: Cleared with some harder achievments but not the hardest
Naxx 25: Cleared several times thanks to people from Iron Edge

EoE 10: Cleared as healer on p3
EoE 25: Not Cleared

VoA old:   Cleared
VoA new: Cleared thanks to some people from Iron Edge

Ulduar 10: The Siege of Ulduar + Kologarn + Auriaya
Ulduar 25: N/A

Why do you want to join Iron Edge?

There is a beast inside of me and it no longer can stay calm in orgrimmar. The thirst for raiding in the hard style  grows stronger.Iron Edge is not just the top hardcore raiding guild of Dunemaul, but very social as well. And probably you guys know that the best raid is not made by hardcore geared people, its made of teamwork and teamwork doesn't suit everyone. The Only available way to achieve the hardest achievment lies in you officer's of Iron Edge.

What can I offer to Iron Edge?
1. A Friend
2. A Dedicated Raider
3. A player who is able to push his characters to the limit
4. A player who is never late, and always prepared of course
5. Flask,Elixirs,Potions,Gems and Enchants

Last words?
The Reason for my Ulduar experience is that "The Black Fury" is mature guild.People there are busy and the Ulduar group I`m in doesn't have time to proceed further.Well what i had to say i said.
Ouuu yeah i forgot... i`m familiar with using TS2 or Skype for raid talking but ready to learn something new maybe. ;)

The rest is up to you :)

A Feral Cat or Restoration Druid would go down a storm in the B-Raid! Good look with your app! Nice colours. Favourite pokemon?

Indeed a feral would be really nice and when Yjnar is off killing little girls we'll need a new resto. However how happy will you be in B-raid? since you are applying to both raiding team and there is quite a difference between 2 or 4 raids a week.

Sounds like b-raid is not the right place for you. If you want to join the a-raid now I suspect that the b-raid would just be a stepping stone for getting the gear to join a more hardcore raid.

Ok here goes the answers

1. At Noizey i would say that my favourite pokemon is Charizard
2.At Yoica >> well i will be indeed better in A team since it is raiding 4 times a week ,But B team also is very good place for me , since so far i just raided once a week (ulduar)
3. At Treachery >> hehe  ;D type Souless in Armory and you`ll see about 5 pages with that name  ;D ;D
4.At Graxlos >> yep i agree that my gear probably is not good enough for A team so in time with the help of B team i will succeed but as i said to Yoica i`ll be happy in both teams :)

I think we have to turn you down for the A-raid as we have a couple of very good other applications (DK and warrior), and it's hard to fit in another rogue!

Your druid might work out well in the B-raid though, as mentioned.

G'luck.

So i have taken a look at your application, and it looks good.

Your gear is ok, as is your raiding expiriance.

The B-raid is looking for a Feral Dps Druid, but we are full on Rogues.

I would be interested in giving your a trial, however i have a few concerns.

1. Your druid is an alt. We don't generally bring alts to our raids, and we have no interest in gearing up someones alt, for them to lose interest in it, and go back to their main a few weeks later.

2. You applied to both raids. To me this seems like you really want to raid hardcore 4 days a week, but incase the A-raid didn't accept you, the B-raid would be a back up. The B-raid is not a back up, nor is it a "get into Iron Edge, then after a while join the main raid" deal. We are a pro raiding team, that only raids Mondays and Tuesdays, and we are cool with that. We are looking for good, reliable raiders, to join our team and have fun. We also do 10 man Ulduar and other such raids apart from Mondays and Tuesdays, but this is optional.

3.

2.At Yoica >> well i will be indeed better in A team since it is raiding 4 times a week ,But B team also is very good place for me , since so far i just raided once a week (ulduar)
4.At Graxlos >> yep i agree that my gear probably is not good enough for A team so in time with the help of B team i will succeed but as i said to Yoica i`ll be happy in both teams :)

This doesn't sound good to me, as it could lead to you raiding with us, gearing up, then after a while wanting to raid 4 days, and buggering off to another guild, as you aren't really happy with only two days a week.

If you really want to raid 4 days a week, stick with that, and make an application to one of the other guilds on dunemaul. Its better you stick to what you really want to do, rather than letting people down later on.

I think its just his way of saying he really wants to raid with us be it A or B. Dell has already turned hm down for A raid since we have a lot of new meelees there so it really only leaves B-Raid for him.

Ok,thanks for all the positive replies and with this reply i`m just making it clear that if i get a trial in B team i`ll stay loyal to it, aint gonna jump out of it.I`ll raid with my new team mates be kind with them and do my dps-ing job. Also about the alt thingy thats not a  problem.I actually play it as much as my rogue, and since you need my cat for the raids i`ll be on time with it everytime
