Title: Blizzard Invitational 2008 - How about it?

Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of June 2008.

So, who wants to go?

Tickets on sale in 2 days. I imagine it'll sell out fast.

All sorts of goodies, like a beta key, a pet... crap like that.

I'm up for it, if other people are willing to buy their tickets as soon as they become available!

And plenty of cool stuff, and getting to see all the most up-to-date info on SC2 and WoTLK is very appealing. Who knows, you might even get a chance to ask the devs a question :)

If you're interested in going but concerned about the cost, I should point out the non-combat pets you get in your goody-bag from turning up usually sell for a lot more than the cost of the ticket and (probably) your transport costs combined.

But basically, you will need a hotel room. 2 nights sounds wise -- arrive Friday the night before, sleep Saturday, leave Sunday night.

Maybe have to sleep Sunday night also... maybe... Not sure tbh!

Can grab 1-2 rooms and just all bundle in though. Anywhere in Paris is pretty good as the public transport there is top-notch.

Post by: Starbrow on March 20, 2008, 08:46:46 pm: Just thought I'd mention it, but I just bought my ticket for it, so I'm going to be there for the event :) 70 euroes doesn't really seem so horrible to me, especially as it includes a WotLK beta key I guess, as I hugely enjoyed the TBC beta too. Oh, and generally meeting up with guildies should be cool too :D

I'm just looking forward to the SC tournament, I myself am rooting for Flash. Though SaviOr took the last Blizzard invitational.
