Shame its not the mount the average player will be getting, me wants it....really....must have it....

Actually, the average player will be getting it I believe...

Blizzard have already stated that the average mount will actually be a Gryphon/Wyvern for Alliance/Horde respectively.

Yep, as Haar said we get armored Wyverns (flightmaster shite with crap attached to it). Nether drake and some more rare mounts are expected to be rare drops in new instances or smtn like that.
