Oh and I really loved those photos Zatzianka, I wish I was into photography because we've got some stunning landscape over here too. Maybe Gerður can cook up something, she does some photography.

That's something else, I really want to visit Faroe Island sometime.

When is the most beautiful season?

Awsome song Palmar! Keytar is fun, allthough I prefer accordion with tangets! ;)

That's amazing.

But just a 'offtopic' question. With what programs do you draw your pictures with Kawe? The one with the zombie etc. You're not doing that by hand are you?

Or does anyone has some tutorials for Adobe Illustrator? Can't find alot of usefull ones on the internet.

Wow Zatz, don't think I ever saw the "Norðlýsi" as strong as that.. Must've been some strong solar flares causing that.

Don't wanna ruin the moment, but if you look at that picture, you'll see that the guy has been pushing up the green colors a lot. So much that the entire picture is green'ish because he apparently forgot the masking feature ;)

Nothing wrong in making the impact of a motif strong(er), but doing it 'incorrectly' just ruins a good frame imo.

I would say it's tough to call -- there's no green on the other highlights in the frame -- just in the water. That could easily be a reflection...

Remember, this is likely a huge exposure -- at least 5, 10 seconds, maybe more.

Aurora Borealis doesn't look that vivid to the naked eye obviously, but it doesn't look 'far off' what I've seen in other photos.

Where'd you see the excess green?
Now I run a tech website.

I see green'ish in the dark areas as well in the frame. Could be my laptop monitor :/

Actually, the northern lights can look that impressive, but you won't see them over a city/town like this without a camera, because the street lights interfere with your vision.
