Looks good, but no way it will look half as good on my PC. The specs for this game is crazy. It's like Crysis was back in the day, if not worse.
Now I'm gonna troll and be a fanboy, but MW3 > BF3. Haha

Just played some games on xbox, and I must say that its really tons of fun. Only downside is that in its current state it glitches ALOT, but its actually really beautiful even on a console!

Only thing I like better about mw is the rocket launcher. It feels incredibly weak in bf :(

My lappy with only a GT540M (not a strong gpu by any stretch of the imagination) manages well with BF3, at medium or low at 720p res. 1080p is too much for it.

Changes every once in a while though - would be nice if we could keep it up to date as we hear about the passwords.

Possible fix if it doesn't work:
Step1: Go to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games)
Step2: Search for the folder called 'B?ta Battlefield 3' and change the name to 'Beta Battlefield 3'
Step3: Press Start and go to your 'regedit'
Step4: Search the following folders (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ? SOFTWARE ? Wow6432Node ? EA Games ? BF3 Beta)
Step5: Change the 'GDFBinary' path. You need to change de '?' to an 'e' in the word Beta
Step6: Do the same thing you did in Step5, but this time with 'Install Dir'

I like the game, i have some issues with sound from time to time and beta thingies but apart of that, yeah, goodie.

After getting the drivers that were updated for BF3, I've had no serious issues, other than occaisional flicker of fullscreen flat colour, which in honesty could be gpu overheating, I don't have any temp monitor for it though sadly so who can say?
edit** OOoh yeah. Nearly forgot.

Go to your profile, then press edit profile. On the top is says something about some stupid ass website called Gravatar. You can add pictures on gravatar and then link them to your e-mail adress. Because you use the same e-mail adress on battlelog, it detects that and you get your new avatar.
If this Gravatar thing will be used on more things soon, it might actually be worth the trouble :P

I had a lot of trouble getting it installed on my laptop and desktop at the same time, but I just tried 5 times and it worked.

I can't play the damn thing. When I start the game it opens up my browser and goes to BF3 homepage where I am ment to chose game mode etc... Page never loads to 100% and links to multiplayer, singleplayer etc are useless. I found out that if I pull the cable I can play campaign in offline mode and thats all...

Oh I have, and that and the metro are ridiculously hard when played well. Its just the incredibly epic feel of taking the mountain base, and then dozens of you running and base jumping off the cliff, waiting to the last moment to pull the chute and then storming the base.

The game still needs some work, hopefully they'll do it in patching (they have announced some good changes already). But I agree, this game has the most epic battle feeling any game has ever had before. And that in a multiplayer!

One side reaches B before the other due to different distances and will hold it with no problem from then on for the entire rest of the game.
I've played _one_ game where B got taken from the other team.
Its fucking horrible and i hate it and it makes me cry.

grand bazaar has the same with the alleyway and all but atleast you have bases on the side you can take so you can just ignore it if you want to... no such thing for metro

Metro is fucking broken. The parts they use for conquest are decent for Rush, but the starting outside area is too camperfriendly as well
