Title: What is Mafia?
Post by: Rash on October 18, 2016, 07:03:13 pm: There are a bunch of people in a town called Townies, a few of them are also secretly the mafia. It is the townies job to find out who the mafia are and kill them. It is the mafia's job to kill everyone that isn't mafia.

There are two phases, day and night:

Day: The townies get to debate and vote on a person they want to kill, this is called "Lynching".
Night: The mafia get to decide on who they want to kill.

These phases rotate until the game is over.

There are also a few other roles, such as Cop, Vigilante and Doctor who have special abilities they can use. All roles get assigned randomly. If you'd like to play this game, you should look up what all these specific roles mean.

The game is over when either all the townies are dead, or all the mafia are dead.

You can play this game with your friends in a circle in real life, in a chat room, or you can play it on a forum like we're doing now. You cannot join an ongoing game, but maybe there will be another game since so many people seem interested in playing it.

I'd of liked to join but couldn't this time around due to staying away etc phone posting is annoying as fuck.

yeah, everyone at the start gets a pm with their role and faction.
