I was told that the best armor to use against pallies was molten armor.. any opinions? I would have thought Mage Armour may also be an option.

Yeah that is an option. But I know that the people on this guild are quite IMBA with mage knowledge so I figured here was the best palce to ask.... but I understand. Thanks!

Well, there's asking people in wow, but really you'd be best off asking in IRC or just asking your questions in one of your other threads, so that you aren't just spamming up the forum with super small thread.

and i'm wondering who'se feeding you all this mage nonsense..
first of all 'pallies', what spec is that? what spec are you duelling them with?
because in general as a frost mage you never use molten armor ever. mage armor has been one of the most broken things in the game since it was implemented and i've been forever happy to play with it. the only reason it wasnt nerfed was because frost mages weren't everyones #1 concern this expansion, i wouldnt be surprised if it did get nerfed in Cataclysm.
while duelling as a frost mage: vs casters/healers, mage armor 24/7. vs any melee (prot/ret) just go ice armor..

I think thats the most frustrating thing about this game hahahaha. Its been around for so long that on the web most of all I''ve seen when I search is outdated... Then I talk to ingame dudes who throw me stuff that to some just dont make sense. I had a dude once tell me that when fighting a rogue, let him eat through your ice barrier and then instead of blinking out just try to run away...?? Wow I can even believe I actually tried it to see what hapeend.. whahahaha.

But yeah, frost armor against any melee class would be great. Might use molten armor when tanking in BG's. But who wants a mage tank anyway!

u've never heard of ice armor?:P mages have 3 armors, frost only using 2, ice armor and mage armor lol
