Title: Rangeddps!
Post by: Roxis on June 03, 2007, 01:19:34 pm
Hello:)

As many of you know i’am currently unactive on my warrior (Roxis).
The reason for that is simple, i just don’t enjoy playing a warrior anymore.

I’ve been playing warrior since the release of this game, and tbh it’s almost another class from when i started it.
Got hit by countless nerf sticks and the result for me is that i can’t rly do my job anymore as a dps warrior.
Also i’ve been rly busy with school for the last 2-3 months, all that together got me rly bored on my warrior.

So i decided to lv my hunter, i’ve got him quite fast to lv 70 and started to gather up gear and doing my pre-quests.
It’s much fun to play a ranged class after being in melee for most of my raid experiance.

To check my gear/talants,  http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Rangeddps
Atm i’am Pve-MM, like it, but always willing to respec ofc. Maby any tips for my current specc to improve it?
Got 375 alch 375 herb.

Pre-Quests:

I’am done with my karazhan pre-quest and have been raiding with deakesh/shannaro’s group.
Currently doing my Trails of the Naaru which will take me about 2 weeks (max) to complete.
My SSC Pre-Quest will be done next week (when i can join for a gruul raid)

My raiding times:

I’ve been kinda busy the last 2-3 months with school, finally that’s over and i’ve got lots of spare time again ;D
Also hollidays incomming so raiding time’s won’t be an issue, i can be there for all raids.
Ofc there will be days between i’am going out, having some birthday party stuff i have to attend to.

What can you expect of me:

You can expect a active/pre-pared hunter which will do his best to do as much rangeddps! as possible.

-Roxis

As I know roxis, I also know his a good player, however I have no idea of how he plays his hunter, but he got my VOTE.

I think you need to be a lot more active on the forums.

3 posts in over a year is pretty amazing, for an officer...

I think you know how I feel about hunters, and we also have 2 or 3 triallists at the moment. I also know you'd be awesome at it, because you always try to be the best...!

Of course a spot should go to you before any other triallists...

But rerolling is a dangerous thing...!

woah

I gotta say... I didn't expect this by a long way!

Seriously though, I agree with Dell in that you would be good at it purely because you'll do your best to learn it and then optimise your performance at it. Your damage in Karazhan surprised me (wtf hunter with dps? ;)).

I think Roxis will be great at hunter-ing :)

It's a shame to lose a good warrior, but I think you enjoy doing DPS, so you should enjoy a pure DPS class, and a game is played to be enjoyed after all!

You must be pleased you'll probably never have to hear "get your tanking gear on" again ;D

Good luck, not like you need it though!

Have to agree with Kawe on this one, it was surprising to see you at the top of the meters in Karazhan.  Well done!

From what I've seen in Kara the past few weeks, Roxis seems to have picked up the class fairly well does, as said, good damage.  He's been getting geared up a little in my runs, so his gear isn't too shabby either.  Plus he has a load of craftalbe stuff.

Go go Hunter Roxis!

Thougt you would apply in the "guild only section" ? well.. glad you did it here anyway :P :)
Like Delling said, you should have a spot before any trial since you are guild-lol-reroller.. And since Skatofatsas left (no idea why, and when  :o ) I will be glad to se you omong the hunters ;) Give it up for some hardcore raiding on hunter since its been so boring on warrior :P

Gear acceptable, prequest almost done (even though you are still honored/friendly with some of the instance you need to do TK preq ? O.o more PvE less PvP maybe ? :P), I would like you to start get some NR gear though.. 200 UB plz.. (there is a few items you can grind in lower lvl instance, else gogo AH its not very expensive :P). And now lets see if MM can do good dps in 10 min bossfights if they say it was so good in Kara :)

So.. welcome to the hunters.. now you are my biatch ! :P *giggle*

Best Regards
Gerdi

I have to give roxis huntard my full support not that he is only really good warrior he shows that he also can play this hunter of his the thing is good players doesent really matter what class they play they always do good of themselfs.

hope he gets a spot and the hunters situation atm is kinda slim imo :P

Check out the rating that Roxis/me/bansi have on 2vs2, that shows that he is a skilled player ( :D). He does have a good pet name though...

well i know its abit late but i only troll when at work, so here my piece.

For starters i got alot off time for Rox nice guy , nice raider proberbly best dps warrior on server , been in Ie for a long long time and if the reason you want to re-roll is because you still cant beat me in a duel then i understand :P.

but......

personal feelings aside here which is what a few ppl might not have done, the idea of a raider with Rox quality re-rolling to another class is wrong and something that shouldnt be  considered unless in extreme circumstances, reguardless of how good Rangedps dps is,reguardless of how good he has picked up the hunter auto shoot button, allowing a raider to swap mains who has already taken items from 25man instances is a waiste .
the thing that worrys me the most is others jumping on this band wagon and starting to consider main swapping, after all if we alow one or 2 to do it then why not Me or Loading or Oto or Delling and so on and so on, think keeping stability within our guild by maintaining well geared mains is essential to our progress.
We allowed ppl to swap mains at the start of TBC but its been 5 months since then and there has to be a line drawn somewhere, this may sound alittle harsh from me after all rox has done for ie but i'm still pissed at recruiting a raiding druid who swaps mains 5 min after getting member status.

i'm sure rox will do an awesome job as a hunter and i wish you all the best in doing so , just hope there is no knock on effect down the line.

i know hes already accepted and even though i gota lot of time for you rox , i would say NO!!

What would be the point in Rox staying on his warrior if he was unhappy playing it? Maybe he'd stay playing for a while unhappy, but then what? Leave game or guild due to lack of enjoyment? I'd rather have a player reroll and retain them in the guild compared to them playing same class while unhappy then leaving.

I think I worded that terribly. What I think I mean to say is that while ofc it is a bit of a waste of items, if you don't enjoy playing the class and quit the game/guild then you lose the items and the player. And player > items! :D
