Regarding iMessage, afaik all android phones come with google talk with stock versions. Which makes it possible to chat directly over 3g/wifi, if you make a google account. It does require that people use it though.

Well, I personally use Whatsapp. It is just like BBM/iMessage, but can be used on all the smartphones. I havent used iMessage yet, only getting my iPhone 4s tomorrow, but I get the idea that you are never certain if you going to be sending the message for free over data or if it will be an SMS.

Have you heared of Whatsapp? Unlike iMessage(apple ->thus restrictions), it's platform independent.

I've sent a total of 12 sms text in the last 6 months due to everyone, including my parents, having whatsapp and there is no more need for sms.

Also regarding Android Market, its quite easy to do what Apple does, which is to see what apps are crap or not, just that Apple charges extra for it

1.cell phone can not find the SIM-card
2.can not connect the call
3.can not send text message
4.loses contact with the mobile network
5.battery runs out in record time

so I recommend a samsung galaxy s2;
No problem with the phone, and easy to use

1-4 sounds like its a problem with your phone company, not the phone
Battery problems can occur (or atleast I had it) if you try restore an old "profile" to the new unit. Setting it up fresh worked out for me

Tbh I think the worst thing about playing on my phone is the lack of keys.

I would love proper controls so I could own at tetris, tetris suck on a touchscreen.

Exactly what Cwave said. Whatsapp is for all platforms, i think 90% of Holland uses that.
