"The movie that cost $20 trillion to make"
This is a documentary about the global financial crisis of 2008. How did we get there, how did we miss the warnings and what has happened in the aftermath of the crisis?
The thesis is that what happened is illegal and that the people responisble should be in jail.
The targeted audience here is not people in the financial industry. It's to upset normal people and tell them a story about broken system. I think this is done very well and it's very educational and interesting.
It also gains credibility for being political impartial. Because Barack "Change" Obama (which for example Michael Moore puts all his faith in, in his documentary) has reinstated most of these people as his top ecomonic advisors. There is no change to be expected with corrupted rating agencies, regulators and even academia. "It's a wall street government".
An essential film for anyone wanting to know more about this.
8/10
PS. Narrated by Matt Damon. Hehe.

There was some animated film thingee on YouTube recently -- tried to illustrate the whole Federal Reserve Bank thing (it's privately owned).
Worth watching, if you're into the whole (amazing) financial services sector.
(But I can't find a link...)

The full movie about the entire corruption and all the details of the Federal Reserve Bank is called "Zeitgeist 2"...roughly translated as "the spirit of times"!
Watched this movie around 25 times....one word description INCREDIBLE
