General

    * Characters will now retain talented spell ranks so when they retalent they do not have to relearn the spells from trainers.
    * Spell Haste: Spell haste now reduces the global cooldown on spells, down to a minimum of 1 second. This change does not apply to melee and ranged abilities.
    * Patch 2.4 will remove the restriction for Ritual of Summoning that prevents you from summoning players into instances. Provided the player meets the instance requirements, you'll be able to summon them in from anywhere in the world.

Items

    * Once every 24 hours, through Enchanting (not Alchemy) you'll be able to split a Void Crystal into two Large Prismatic Shards. This is through a new recipe that's being added in 2.4.
    * Gems obtained through Heroic difficulty instances are no longer Unique-equipped.
    * Players will now be able to purchase level 70 Superior quality (blue) PvP items from reputation vendors in Outland.
    * Items intended for Retribution Paladins have had their stats adjusted. Retribution Paladins should see an increase in dps as a result.
    * Players can now only carry 80 Conjured Manna Biscuits at a time.

PvP
Arenas

    * Shadow Sight in patch 2.4 is now going to increase damage taken by 5% rather than dealing damage over time. The duration has also been reduced from 21 seconds to 15 seconds.

PvP

    * Players will now be able to purchase level 70 Superior quality (blue) PvP items from reputation vendors in Outland.
    * We've reached a point where we're now confident that applying diminishing returns to honor is no longer necessary, and we're currently planning to remove it with the 2.4 patch.
    * Players that have the resurrection sickness debuff will not be worth any honor, and if a player dies 50 times or more during a battleground they won’t be worth any honor for the remainder of that battle.
    * What the removal of diminishing returns means for you is that as soon as you defeat an opponent that rewards you honor, you will receive that honor, and you will be able to spend it right then. There will no longer be an estimate, and you will no longer need to wait until the next day until you can actually spend it. Your achievements through honor-based PvP will be instantaneous.

Dungeons and Raids

    * All 25-player raid bosses that drop set tokens will now drop an additional token!
    * All 25-player raid bosses will drop more gold.
    * Gems obtained through Heroic difficulty instances are no longer Unique-equipped.
    * Loot dropped by Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker has been changed to Bind on Equip. In addition, the cash dropped by these bosses has been significantly increased.
    * Scale of the Sands reputation will now be awarded in Hyjal at a much higher rate.

Professions

    * A new daily quest will be added for fishing. It's available from "the mysterious old man" near Silmyr Lake outside of Shattrath.

Interface

    * When you loot a Bind on Pickup item that only you can pick up (such as Heroic Badges) you'll no longer see the confirmation dialog.
    * When you loot a Bind of Pickup item the confirmation window is going to list the name of the item in the window/

Druid

    * The Feral bears will be seeing an improvement with Lacerate dealing additional damage based on your attack power.

Hunter

Mage

    * Spellsteal will no longer overwrite a longer duration buff.
    * Players can now only carry 80 Conjured Manna Biscuits at a time.

Paladin

    * Items intended for Retribution Paladins have had their stats adjusted. Retribution Paladins should see an increase in dps as a result.

Priest

    * Priests will now be able to use Fear Ward while in Shadow Form.

Shaman

    * Healing grace will reduce the chance that all of your spells will be dispelled by 10/20/30%.

Warlock

    * Patch 2.4 will remove the restriction for Ritual of Summoning that prevents you from summoning players into instances. Provided the player meets the instance requirements, you'll be able to summon them in from anywhere in the world.

Warrior

    * Endless rage will now yields the correct amount of rage (25%).
    * Off-hand weapon can now critical hits from Whirlwind trigger Flurry and Rampage .

No DR on PvP and instant honour is really nice. No more waiting and hoping!

Also looks like they're trying to make Kazzak and Doomwalker into guildbank gold-fillers or something.

Lots of cool stuff, all round :)

On a little note as a warrior, I bet you most of the warrior population didn't even know/care endless rage was bugged until just now with them announcing they've fixed it ;D

Cwave you have really never experienced real world pvp if you think that ganking at a summoning stone is a way of World pvp. Then again we've never ever had any real world pvp on Dunemaul. Well maybe a very few times we've had some decent world pvp, but very few.

as you say Forker, there has never been any real world pvp. So with the summoning change, they have killed the little that can even remind of world pvp, which Cwave said  :)

Bullshit, best change ever and I'm surprised they allow that as I think it allows some dungeon quest exploits.

And 3 set token from bosses, wtf? That's some serious epics inflation.

Edit: And why does that kill world PvP. I can't remember the last time I got ganked while summoning someone to an instance. Don't expect warlocks to summon the whole raid while safely inside the instance; summoning stones will still be used. The change just stops the stupid "OK two warlocks hellfire and summon replacement X".

First change is a nice gold saver, second is surely nice for some casters that have a lot of haste? Lower gcd ftw?

Nerf to large prism cost (about time), buff to amount of heroic gems one can use (time to farm SV heroics for me) and help to get into PvP for the PvE whores. Cool.

    * Shadow Sight in patch 2.4 is now going to increase damage taken by 5% rather than dealing damage over time. The duration has also been reduced from 21 seconds to 15 seconds.

I'm sure Nachmanun will find some way to whine how this is imbalanced towards some classes and gamebreaking for rogues... Somehow.

Nice changes, makes the mindless AV farm less desirable as you can now just farm kills in any BG for a long time before someone has died 50 times.

Dungeons and Raids

    * All 25-player raid bosses that drop set tokens will now drop an additional token!
    * All 25-player raid bosses will drop more gold.
    * Loot dropped by Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker has been changed to Bind on Equip. In addition, the cash dropped by these bosses has been significantly increased.

More off-spec loot for us, less stress on the gbank for repairs? Will make it easier for other guilds to catch up to our loot level.

* Scale of the Sands reputation will now be awarded in Hyjal at a much higher rate.

WHY NOW? WHYYYY GOD WHYYY... This change, implemented two months ago or more please... Argh

Quote
Professions

    * A new daily quest will be added for fishing. It's available from "the mysterious old man" near Silmyr Lake outside of Shattrath.

Nice for those that enjoy fishing I guess?

Quote
Druid

    * The Feral bears will be seeing an improvement with Lacerate dealing additional damage based on your attack power.

Finally a bit more bear DPS! Will mostly boost our threat a bit but not much else to be fair.

Quote

Don't see the point in the Manna Biscuit, but who cares. Ret(ard)idins buffed, so I guess we'll continue not using them.

Quote
Priest

    * Priests will now be able to use Fear Ward while in Shadow Form.

Now Otori won't have to leave Shadow Form to Fear Ward the MT on Archi! Weee!

Quote
Warlock

    * Patch 2.4 will remove the restriction for Ritual of Summoning that prevents you from summoning players into instances. Provided the player meets the instance requirements, you'll be able to summon them in from anywhere in the world.

Really happy about this one, especially for when we're getting replacements into places like Hyjal.

    * Off-hand weapon can now critical hits from Whirlwind trigger Flurry and Rampage .

Yay or something for the Fury warriors?
Feral, a class of its own.

I fail to see how summon inside the instance is breaking world PVP?!?
On Dunemaul world PVP is forgoten after TBC started, if you don't recall we had summoning stones for BWL and MC aswell but they weren't used a lot since many died trying! I saw only few real world PVP fights outside Karazhan, Maggy's lair and SSC, other than that its quite sad.

People at meeting stones have no intention in PvP:ing and therefor it doesn't count. I mean there are places in the world where you can get a decent fight that's not next to a town, like elemental plateau. Yes, some people don't want to fight but most people actually conquered that place in order to farm there...at least that is how it used to be. :)

There had been some really good fun things at Halaa at times :) Don't know if you were doing them around the time most were hitting that part of the levelling curve though.

Re. the warrior changes again, they're basically just a little bit moot, as even in fury the best output available is still through using a 2Her. If ever a song was written about Endless Rage, it was M.C. Hammer who wrote it, even if he didn't know it at the time. So it's quite a non-factor in the patch notes as far as changes go :)
