I saw the video when they discussed how they would make the new streetfighter game as streetfighter 2(turbo).

But this kinda seems like an exact copy of street fighter 2 with 3d graphics, same characters same moves but shiny.

Well they're doing something good with the mechanics, i.e. keeping the core of it untouched. There's no reason why using 3d graphics should mean the gameplay has to change too, and mercifully capcom have realised this

As far as being identical to SF2, that won't be the case. The reason it's SF4 and not "SF2 super turbo alpha extreme mega hyper fighter championship master edition 5" is because it's a different part of the story/timeline SF4 is set after SF2, but before SF3. So while it's possible there may be some SF3 characters, it's fairly unlikely on the whole. So far confirmed characters are Chun-li, Ryu and Ken, and I think that's it.

As I recall that is all the playable characters from the original street fighter 2.

Not watched that newest video - my info is about a month old

If it doesn't have Bison in it, I'll be pissed. I'd expect they'd include the championship edition characters (vega, sagat, bison, balrog) tbh though if they have the rest of the original cast. 3d rendered vega wall climbing would be a great thing to see.

Re; SF3 characters, I'd kind of like Ibuki to be in. Ninjas are always a good thing to have. Some of the other SF3 characters are fairly dull clones of SF2, like Dudley the balrog clone, and some blue and red dhalsim-a-like.
