Title: Raider Application - Shaman (Healer) - Kiroshaya (XR)
Post by: Applicant on May 08, 2025, 07:44:08 pm
Hello, Iron Edge!

I am applying for the main raid.

Character: Kiroshaya
Server: Tarren Mill
Armory: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/Tarren%20Mill/Kiroshaya
Class/Spec: Shaman (Healer)
Member Type: Raider

Personal Info:

Hi there! My name is Kiro, I am 31 years old and I am looking for a long-term home in a progress raiding guild to clear the current as well as coming raids. I am a mature adult that has been playing healers in WoW since 2008 (which probably makes me pretty old now). I approach raiding with punctuality, preparation, and a strong respect for everyone’s time. I consistently give my best on every pull and value a focused, team-oriented environment. Ideally, I’m looking to join a guild that shares these same values. If your guild is looking for a resto shaman, please give me a "call", Discord: Kiroshaya#8669, Bnet: Kiro #23304

Class/Spec:

Healer - because it has been my passion for now 17 years. My main spec is restoration shaman, I do have an elemental dps offspecc but prefer to heal. My current gear level is 670.

I have been a healer for a long time - every time a change happens to my class I figure out how to play it best on every raiding encounter by researching how better players play the class, trial and error, and a lot of practice. In this season, I try to balance Versatility and Crit in Raids, Haste for M+ content. There is no rotation in healing - except for keeping Surging Totem up (Healing Rain), as well as Riptide on cooldown. In healing downtimes I DPS.

Alts:

I have previously played restoration druid in raids, for about 10 years (although not recently due to the underwhelming performance of the class).

Professions:

Nothing special - so far I have been getting my crafted gear from the guild I am currently in.

Raiding Experience:

I achieved CE in MoP, then took a break from progress raiding in order to finish my studies. Now that I am finished, I have the time and energy to progress raid again and would like to achieve CE in the current, as well as coming contents. Currently my Undermine progression stands at 4/8M, with 50% best pull on the 5th Boss.

Previous Guilds:

I am currently in the guild SaveCowEatPanda, but am not happy with the organization and engagement.

Availability:

I am available all evenings from 18:00 (CET) onwards.

Communication:

My nationality is German, but I speak English fluently. I have Discord and can listen as well as speak. Yes, I use my microphone ;)

Computer / Connection:

I have a 4 year old computer without FPS issues, as well as a stable internet connection and no lags unless the server is lagging. No I do not disconnect - ever :)

Addons/UI:

I use Vudoo for healing - have been for as long as I can remember because it displays all necessary information needed for healing. For raiding, weakauras such as Liquid and MRT are installed.

Other Games:

Currently I play Oblivion (remastered) and enjoy the nostalgia very much.

Why Iron Edge?

I am looking for an organized guild with ambitious members and a strong leadership - you having such an extensive application form in place gives me hope to find it here. Also, your current raid progress in Undermine aligns closely with my progress. Your website with the pictures gives off great vibes and a sense of community, which I would appreciate to become part of.

What can I offer Iron Edge?

Ingame, I am an experienced raid healer with a strong drive to achieve the best performence on every single pull, that respects other people's time by showing up prepared and punctual to scheduled raid days and events. Outside of the game I am an easy-going, concious person and a joy to be around, or so I have heard.

Where did I hear about Iron Edge?

I found your ad posted on the WoW EU forums.
