Hey guys, I have been testing out this mod package put together by some dude, I think its awsome...when you get used to the massive change. Lots of raid goodies and other great mods, seems he has put a lot of work into this. Theres about 1000 ways to customize it including button skins, size, placement and hover color.
This is the link http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=3753 it loads slow but downloading this mod is for the best!
Take notice of the awsome raid group tidy up (Bottom right), looks great and dosen't obscure your view. Also all the buttons in the middle at the bottom can be moved individaully with the option to have 1-10 bars active.
Cog skin for the win. Hope you guys love this UI as much as I do

Very nice... Although I've tried some other raid UIs before and I always just end up sucking at healing, because I'm sooooo used to CTRA panels.
After over a year of end-game healing you kind of recognise patterns in the bars in CTRA... it's kind of intuitive by now, and I'd lose that all by changing to a new system.
Not to mention it doesn't seem to show health/mana, just one or the other?
Lots of space however :)

I like bars, more bars :) I dont function unless half 85% of my screens is covered in healthbars ;)

Me and nox were playing about with the raid thing today, the small squares arn't that great. But you can disable these by using the grid option and selecting enable / disable then you can use CT_raid for your bars.
Think you will still have more room using the UI with CT_raid than not using it, also set CT_raid to show groups horizontaly saves soo much room its crazy! ???

I've tried a good many crazy UIs, but as Delling mentioned, after using something for so long it becomes intuitive. Your eyes begin subconsciously scanning certain parts of the screen and gathering info like so many busy little ferrets. I always feel my performance suffer when I alter the positions or looks of my UI components drastically.
I do keep my UI neat and tidy though, CTRA panels all without borders, shrunk, neatly arranged, etc etc.

DLd it.
Tried it.
Found out that I hate UI changes.
Deleted it.
