Aye ...like it says. My IRL friends got their TBC game today.
THey bought it of a toy store in sweden :/

Isnt it supposed to release and sell 16th January or am i wrong?

You're 100% sure? I saw the boxes and casettes in the store, but afaik unless you work there, or know someone who does, you cant get the cds till the 16th seeing as it would violate Blizz agreements with distributors, I think ;)

Shops will have copies already (normally up to a few weeks in advance) but they really shouldn't give them out until they're meant to!

No clue if it's playable tho'... I think they will need to hit a switch on the servers.

pretty weird...

I was told same thing today when I called to the shop where I ordered tbc. "We have the boxes, but its against blizzards rules to send them to customers before 16th."

its 100% true, going to the shop today to check out if that dude is selling or not :p will buy one there instead of waiting 10000 in the line ^^

Yeah you get a cd key and put it on your account, install TBC. But you cant get into Outlands as you know ;)

Bought myself a TBC game ^^ 350kr (around 35 euros etc)
Its true :P This guy that owns the store sold the game because hes not working tuesday the 16th :P

my collectors edition is at the store, i had a look inside the box today.

can't pick it up until tuesday though, or Monday afternoon at the earliest.

I asked the guy behind the counter at the local game store and I got a blank WTF Noob look, then he said "ts out on tuesday".... and that was it.   :-[RUDE! :-[

Guess I'll be waiting until tuesday for mine!  :'(

Guy from Alliance got his box too, can't play ofc - you need to activate your account for BC, which isn't open yet. So don't fret about not having it yet.
