I remember the sword peiko, it was the untamed blade and Arcz had the nefarian one :) I mean it is a part of turkish cuisine and it is called döner  (rolling in turkish) greeks call it gyro. I asked why do you call shoarma ? just curious.

I think Shoarma is a bastardisation of Shawarma, which is the arabic equivalent to döner/gyros. Of course, since it's arabic, it is already bastardised as it's written in the roman alphabet, and not the arabic one (called al-abdjadiyya I think? Maybe someone can clarify, as I am a bit hazy on arab grammar :P).
