Title: private server - need help

hello there!

im currently looking for someone that has set up a private wow server, ready for play, or if there is someone that can tell me how to setup my own server.

i need this for frapsing the sunwell, so it needs to be updated with the PTR files.

anyone that can help me? much appreciated!

I played around with it back in 1.9 but forgot to back up my real wow folder.. dont do the same mistake. Dont make your private server in your game folder.

Do you need mobs?? If not Making a SandBox server is the most easy thing to do. Dont have much time today to find the files but try google it.. Will help you tomorrow to much schoolwork todo today :)

i dont really need mobs, just the environment basically, and would really like to get the instance sunwell plateau aswell. i just cant get this to work! any ideas?

Devlin,

Maybe a stupid question but have you tried the 3D map tools for viewing the actual environments? I used that to open instance environments back when i was solo running for stuff on the dr00d. It had all the lighting & effects applied so wasnt a basic shell.

I am waaaay outta touch and reading on PTR stuff historically it was a hassle to set them up as holes were closed on having them.
