So,
Im looking for a laptop sofa type of desk. purchasing on my chair arm is killing my circulation and i found this.
http://www.laptable.co.uk/ (http://www.laptable.co.uk/)
Nice but not a nice price tag. I then found a cunning budget version
http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30045016 (http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30045016)
So a quick run down to IKEA (if we had one near) and a hacksaw job later i have the same thing (although not quite as spacious and comfy)
So anybody else have one or seen one thats actually any good?
Cheers!

pft, lazy casual.
Go get some wood and make one!

I have a tray-thing, which is a big wooden tray with a beanbag attached to the bottom of it, so that it can rest on any surface pretty well (a la your lap).
* found out what they're actually called.
Apparantly a "lap tray".
Here's an example of one, mine is just plain old wood though, no funky cat design :P

So I did even more searching and ebay had some similar stuff at a cheap cost but i figured what the hell. its hand made and its perfect size and real solid so i ordered it.
I shall be posted my review so for those who need comfort and wow this could be the thing to go for!
Cheers,

Righto!
I have been using laptable.co.uk 17" right handed version (with cup holder) for about a week now and its brilliant!
It fits great over you without being uncomfortable. The adjustable height is great on the wrists and comfy and keeps the screen at the perfect height. I can really slouch and still play at the perfect position. the mouse area has plenty of space also and the cup holder is nice and sturdy and great for any drinks!
If you need something you can really veg on this is perfect. works great on bed as well!
