Title: New Monitor

I'm looking at get a new monitor.  My old crt is just taking up far too much of my desk space.  Can anyone recommend a good 24" widescreen?

Looking to spend around £200 (or less if there's a decent one :P)

Any of the Dell ones are pretty good. Not amazing, but good enough for MMO gaming/movies/etc.

Think you need to go up a little more (£250-300) for the 'good' Samsungs and the like.

I still use 17 inch Sony monitor which is like 5-6 years old , hope I'll change it one day when it brokes  ;)

I have a 24" wide Samsung and I'm very pleased with it.

Samsung syncmasters are pretty good.

Perhaps a 24" acer, they're pretty nice. Not too expansive, and i like their looks.

The problem with Acers if you have to hide them when girls come round... they're that embarrassingly lower-class.

at first i thought you made monitor's yourself then i remebered there was a comany called dell
