Title: Lan games!

So im ahving a newlan coming up shortley, and i want to bring in some new games from all kinds of genres, so i wanted to ask you guys if you know any good games that are fun in a lan!

Suggestions and explanations (and maybe a quick info if its a not so famous game)

I wouldn't really do TF2 unless you have like 16 players....

LIERO! You must play liero! 2D worms-like LAN-game where you can move all the time and use awesome weapons! Really intense, and has lots of fun modifications to it!

Ya been playing Dawn of war a few times, havent tried soulstorm yet though, need to get that. Company of heroes i played a bit in serbia, awesome game and was thinking of putting it in with the expansion on the next lan.

Gonna try and get a TF2 ;P only file or smth that u dont need steam for.

Homeworld on the other hand, ive never tried, so ill have to get it and try it! Been wantig to do it for quite some time now, just never had time for it.

@ Grilly plaid liero, seems a bit to simple, sure it was a bit fun but, just dot like it to much. Might have been because we were like 10 ppl with mini nukes and i died to much though

@ Dell Armagetron? whats that?

@ Meeckah Soldat... hmm.. i recognise the name

So got myself homeworld one and 2, impressive, a bit different gameplay but it seereal fun.

Played a skirmish in both 1 and 2, but the second game seems a bit more retard friendly, but for some strange reason im pretty drawn a bit more towards the first game.

When we do lans we do:

Quake 3 tournament. fast pace and really easy to make work :P lots of cracked versions on the interwebz.

obviously DOTA, wc3, starcraft.
