Title: Overheated my GFX card

Well, was sitting playing yesterday, comp had been on all day (like always) and suddenly my screen froze and I couldn't do anything. So I restarted and my monitor said "Check Signal Cable". So I'm guessing it's my GFX card that overheated.

Anything I can do if that would be the case? and what else could it be?

I'll go to repairs with it on monday, so we'll see..

I might still be raiding, if this (my mom's laptop) can take wow.

Just turn off the screen and faceroll; you play a warlock, after all.

Sounds like an overheated/dead GFX card to me. Plug the screen into your mother's laptop though, see if the screen is dead.
