Personal Information
My name is Robin, I live in the northern of Sweden and no, I do not live with reindeers. Neither do I live in an igloo, killing seals and using their skin as gloves (bearskin is better rawr). Im 19 years old, will be 20 in May if that is of any importance :) Currently Im unemployed, trying to get a job but no one wants a Death Knight in their company, how strange is that? On a more serious note, I like to be with friends and party on the weekends, Im always in a good mood except when Im not, which isn't often.
Character Information
Since I was GM, CL and RL in my old guild I attended almost all raids (98% attendance) I got pretty good gear. You can see my DPS gear on armory here (http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&n=Ryuga). My tanking gear is not as good but still good enough to tank in Ulduar. Im gonna dual-specc tank and even though I prefer to DPS I can play both roles. My gear on both speccs are properly enchanted/gemmed with the best enchants/gems available. My spec is as you can see 51/0/20, blood dps. I've spent soon 4000 gold on respeccs just to explore the DK class fully, I've tried every specc possible and so far 51/0/20 is the most superior specc. In Ulduar I will either go 51/0/20 or 17/0/54, depending on the other DKs and how good those speccs are when the final changes are done.
You can see my DPS gear on the armory, together with spec/enchants/gems, since you can't see my tanking gear Im gonna post my gear and stats here instead, I hope I will not make your eyes bleed with wall of item-text.

Stats
HP: 33958
Defense: 544
Dodge: 18.22%
Parry: 20.80%
Expertise: 33
Hit: 127
Armory: 25241
These are my stats in 51/0/20 DPS specc. I will gain 5% dodge and some more armor but will loose some stamina in tanking specc. I have the best enchants in all slots, same with the gems. Got 3 x 41 sta gems atm too. For Ulduar I'd probably get some more avoidance and trade it with expertise if needed, got some things to swap out.
Professions
I have 450/450 jewelcrafting and 422/450 enchanting. I mostly picked them for the JC only/enchanter only gems/enchants but Im currently collecting recipies for JC and will start leveling enchanting again soon. I have 446/450 cooking and unfortunately no fishing, I've never fished in WoW until now. I tried but I only got to 100-something and then fell asleep.
Raiding
Your raidtimes suits me perfectly, we raided 18:30-23:00 5days/week in Animosity and before that I played even more hardcore so Im used to raiding alot. As I mentioned earlier Im very active, had 98% attendance (which isn't fully correct since we counted every boss as a raid in the DKP). But still, I raid alot.
Raidexperience
Pre-TBC: 10/15 naxx
TBC: M'uru
Wotlk: I've done everything so far.
Ulduar: Mimiron, Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Thorim on PTR
Gaming (optional) and World Of Warcraft history
I started playing WoW in January 2005 I think. I didn't take it seriously at first but a few months later I decided to get to 60 which was a big achievement for me. I started raiding with my rogue in a swedish guild called Banished Syndicate on Laughing Skull. My first raid was in ZG, it was their second ZG raid in total and I started to learn all about raiding. I raided with them up to first boss in Naxxramas, then they decided to migrate and I decided to stay. I joined a guild called Randoms and raided up to 4 horsemen in naxx. After that they remade the guild to fit the 25man raiding in TBC and since I was pretty new and we had many rogues they told me that they would not have a spot for me in their raiding group. So I decided to reroll with some IRL friends, I made a hunter on Stormrage and started raiding Karazhan/SSC/TK with them and their guild. Then they decided to disband and I started leveling my 40ish shaman which I had on the realm Karazhan, which was sooo dead so it was impossible to even find a guild. I decided to migrate my Shaman to Twilight's Hammer. I joined a guild with my cousin called Aequilibrium if I remember correctly. When we were done with SSC/TK they decided to disband, once again I was guildless. Since I had pretty good experience from hardcore raiding Pre-TBC I decided to make an application to Loot FTW which wasn't that big at the time. They were struggling with Mother in BT and they were in desperate need of a resto shaman. So from MH/BT to M'uru in SWP I played both enh and resto and was pvping/doing alt runs with my hunter and rogue. Sadly, it was the last 2-3 months of my last year of school so I really needed to focus on school. I attended about 3 raids/week and I knew that it wasn't enough when you're in one of the best guilds in the world. So I left the guild and decided to only play for fun with friends. After a while I stopped playing completely for about 8 months and started just before Wotlk, leveling a warrior named Ryuuga. I started the guild Animosity with my cousin and raided ZA/SSC/TK and pugged MH/BT.
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
First of all, I want to be able to sit on Dellings rock without getting my head cut off, I thought that being in IE would increase my chances of survival. I miss the hardcore raiding that Im used to and this guild seems to offer quality raiding. I want a guild that is focusing 100% on new encounters and that decapitate slackers. I've always done my best to improve myself in every aspect and I've never been too good with slackers, thus I want to join a hardcore-oriented guild.
What can I offer to Iron Edge?
I can offer two sides of myself, the elitist side which makes me compete with myself to be as good as possible in whatever role I have. I do not like to perform below what I know Im capable of. The other side is a funny guy with a somehow twisted mind. I like to make jokes and have fun but when it comes to raiding Im 100% focused. Ok, not on P1 on Gothik/KT. Since Im used to being a hardcore raider you will get a trial that will be easy to get along with and does what he can to contribute to the guild in any way.
Last words?
I might have made a messy application and if anything is left unanswered and you need to ask something or checking out my gear then just give me a whisper. Id prefer to DPS but I can tank too if it's required.

Nice app, gl!
-
Very nice app.
Good luck. :)
-
Good looking and detailed application I must admit . Good luck .
-
Very well written application!!
-
Needs more colours...
But great app!
We are currently looking for a DK that is capable of tanking, so if you were to join IE, you should probably dump those dreams of being NUMBER ONE DPS.
Ulduar is looking like it will need 4-5 tanks -- but obviously, a dual-spec dps/tank DK would be ideal!

Sure, tanking works for me though my DPS skills are far superior. I'd make a good tank too since I've tanked every encounter except Malygos. I've also tanked in Ulduar on all the bosses I mentioned. In TBC I tanked up to Kael/Vashj as warrior, tanking as DK is a big difference but the tanking skills are still there.
-
Well, you might want to make sure you stay in shape and keep your tanking muscles warmed up!
Nice colours. Especially the pink.
-
omg its ryuga :p
haha i remember playing with this guy early WOTLK!
We did quite alot of heroics and stuff with that tank warrior...named Earthmon i think.
Pretty good DK actually. Friendly and knows his class!
GL
p.s. many many colours!

I think it's time to have a limit of 1 animated GIF between your signature and avatar, Shan.
-

Im not Earthmon if that was what you thought, however he was MT in my guild and I did lots of heroics with him as tank in the start of Wotlk. Im the sexy version of Earthmon :)

Sv: RYUGAA!, jag ska leta efter dig i Sverige och cutta dig! Mohahah
En: RRYUGAA! I'm gonna look for you in Sweden and cut you! Mohahah!
XD
-
Sorry guys but I've done a lot of thinking, considering it's gonna be summer soon in Sweden and Im not gonna have that much time to play during the summer it would be best to just take a break now instead.
-
thats sad, cuz taking a break often makes one fall so far behind in the gear order, and its often hard to catch up again if one is so long away that you might miss 1 or maby 2 raid instances and thus making the gear difference too big :'(
-
Sweden never have summer....we got like what 1.5 week total of sunlight haha.
Zatz, WATCH TRANSFORMERS!
-
I've changed my mind, I keep fooling myself that playing WoW will ruin my summer but consider how much sparetime you have if you are only raiding week-nights as you are doing then it won't keep me from being outside. So, I'd like to re-open my application and party like a rockstar.
