For all of you that may not have noticed, there seems to be a global crisis going on.
As you all are aware (or not) I own my own company and am pretty much busy trying to keep people going whilst still being cutting edge in terms of development and services delivered.
Now a new, bad; phenomenon is increasingly appearing, the large companies are basically selling services at 0 cost to companies(hence losing money) now this is a valid practice in the private sector , its your money after all I'd say.
Where it gets Hairy is when the European union and public sectors start doing this as well.
Tenders then lose any value and basically you have governments "investing" by pumping money into fraudulent banks and what have you while at the meantime basically snuffing ut smaller companies by accepting this kind of labor.
It is a dal morality as well as a very destructive policy. now I can only speak for dutch instances where I have been confronted by this...how is it in other Eu countries?
regards
Glenn

Speaking of global crisis is not new topic. I am pretty sure its same in all EU countries, just a tinny bit better then it is in USA and Japan followed by UK (read: most developed countries suffer the most). As much as I understand your point of view you must understand that larger companies suffer more and that way of dealing with this situation can only delay the inevitable. Trick is to survive without losing too much(don't even think about expanding or development), most of the huge companies and corporations (industrial and trading mostly) will disappear due to insane debts to banks. Only then situation will start looking better.
What sort of company are we talking about in your case?
