Personal Information
Hi dere IE, thanks for taking the time to read my app.
My RL name is Alec and im 20. Currently im at manchester metropolitan uni doing computer science just finished my 1st year... yes I am a new fag xD. Ive been playing wow for a few years now and im a dedicated gamer and enjoy a laugh.
My pc spec is:
4x2.4 ghz intel quad processor
4gb cosair dominator ram
512mb 9800gtx+ nvidia graphics card
my motherboard is a bit turd atm so im gunna replace it to OC my proccessor but im at uni so that will come when im not poor as fuck xD
Character Information
My chars name is currently called: 'Shankme' and I play on wildhammer EU. Im willing to get a sever change as ive always wanted to play on a PVP server and play with a shit hot guild.

I have a few upgrades im planning to make 1st off im grinding the rep for exaulted hodir for shoulder enchant and Im also grinding the gold to get beseking on my MH so ignore the shitty enchants for now =P

Im currently combat spec as I got a sexy MH from Uld 10 that I wanted to make use of =P and that its one of the best dps specs for rogues atm. I used to be mutilate spec which I enjoyed a lot, as the rotation was a lot more complex however my daggers got outgeared by the rest of my gear quickly and as I got new weapons I thought id go combat. However, if I get better daggers I might respec back to mutilate but to be honest ill be what ever spec boshes out the most dps =)
I was the GM of a guild on Wildhammer called The Abandoned where we had cleared naxx 10 and 25 (not much of an acchievement I know =P) and we had started progress on Ulduar 10 and 25 we cleared up to Mimiron on 10 man had 1 night of wiping at mimorn getting him to phase 4 but unfortunately not killing him. We did the seige of ulduar on 25 man too from 1 week of 25 man raiding however when it came to making a group after that we had problems as people were afk for exams or couldnt make it for whatever reason. At this point the guild fell appart and now here I am.
Raiding
I have a lot of exp with raiding, unfortunately I missed vanilla wow but I did a lot of raiding at lvl 70. Back then I raided as a mage with a guild called Dominion on Wildhammer we cleared all the t4, t5 and t6 content except sunwell which we got to 3/6. So spent many raid nights wiping and coming out with nothing but repair bills but nothing beats the feeling of getting a boss finally after soooo much time so it was worth it.
The wotlk raiding I have done was with my own guild heres the run down of our progress:
Naxx 10 (15/15)
Naxx 25 (15/15)
EoE 10 (1/1)
OS 10 tried the 3d zerg method got him to about 600k
OS 25 cleared with 1drake
VoA 10 (2/2)
VoA 25 (2/2)
Uld 10 (10/14)
Uld 25 (4/14)
Well its summer so I will be spending most days on wow as I have nothing to do, however when my second uni year comes I will mostly be on in the evenings.
More specific times:
Mondays: Whenever required
Tuesdays: Whenever required
Wednesdays: Whenever required
Thursdays: Whenever required
Fridays: Whenever required
Saturday: Whenever required
Sundays: Whenever required
Gaming (optional) and World Of Warcraft history
As I mentioned earlier im a hardcore gamer, before wow I used to be a halo 2 fan so I spent most of my time on that however one of my friends introduced me to wow and that pretty much stopped my XBL career xD
At the moment I play a lot of PC games such as TF2, HL2, fallout 3 etc and also do some xbox360 gaming but wow takes up most of my time these days. But I still have a passion for FPS
I started leveling my mage before TBC came out and lvld straight to 70, at this point I got in a raiding guild cleared most t6 content used to do a lot of pvp on my mage too. I always got ganked by rogues and that made me want to roll a rogue sooo bad =P so I re rolled got my rogue to 80 and havnt looked back since.
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
Ive been tracking your guys progress for a while as I met Nacotics (dan) at uni and he told me about you guys and from what hes said you guys sound like an awesome guild. Also ive been looking for a guild with good progress, skilled players and a nice atmosphere for a while.
What can I offer to Iron Edge?
Im a social, reliable and friendly dps who you can rely to make it to raid on time fully equipped. Also I like to belive I have a good sense of humor and I have determination to progress. I also like to help out wherever possible

tbh i was more of a magic the gathering fan had an imbah black and blue deck if that means anything to you guys xD

What attack rotation would you use against an Exeggcutor, it being resistant to water and psychic-type attacks?!

I still have my Magic decks in the cupboard...
But being an oldie, those decks are disgustingly-powerful Revised and Unlimited decks crammed full of Moxes and Serra Angels.
I play White Weenie or red Sligh.

Good counter, dear sir!
However, your strategy would require you to go to M.T. Ember's second floor and use approx. 25 ultra balls, get very lucky and have all the gym badges..
Also, look out for the red text saying "Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. " before you click Post twice :P

ohh btw i forgot to say i do about 3.1-3.3k dps self buffed on a training dummy
well tbh i use a mixture of clicking and keys, atm i use keys for Sinester strike, rupture and evisc and click for slice and dice and cool downs

dont take it too close what many of the guys spam with here... if some of them would be as active in raids as spamming useless shit here, then... well then i dont dare to think of the lvl of performance they would put out :P
dps on dummies counts for shit, its what the performance is in raids. anybody can bash on a dummy where the biggest threat usually comes from boredom and choosing the tele over the useless bashing on a dummy.

I sincerely recommand you to bind all your keys. Your dps is fine, but as far as I know melee dps is alot about awareness. Having to click shit wastes time and might leave you to rot in a void zone or whatever :P
It's just a..tip! It will help you a great deal as a player binding everything you "might" use in pve :)
