Jezzina - 80 Death Knight
Introduction
First of all, I'd like to take a moment at the start of this application to apologise for my very sporadic attendence prior to my unannounced break. Truth be told I never really expected to take a break, I ended up swamped in coursework and exam preperation due to the fact that I took the first half of the year for granted and did absolutely nothing - I just completely lost time and at one point ended up completely forgetting about gaming altogether in order to keep up, and I'll also admit that it was quite irresponsible to just vanish without a word, and for that I apologise again, to Delling and to the guild.
I had a quick chat with Grilly and decided to post an application here before resorting to F&F, so, without further adieu, my application to join the B raiding squad of Iron Edge!
Personal Information:
My name is Jamie, Jezza... or Crazy as everyone from IE calls me, take your pick! I live in England, I'm 17, 18 in one month, and am planning on going to University in Manchester in September to study Computer Science, following the summer holidays.

Due to the apparent downfall of DW DPS that I read on elitist jerks, my 2hander is Armageddon from 4HM Heroic.
My character is currently not specced, but I've looked up a very standard blood raiding spec which I will most likely use, until I get to experiment with some others:

I have a large array of other pieces of gear, including tanking gear from both 10 and 25 man instances, overall my DPS Gear is better, and as a person I'd be more suited for the role of a DPSer, but I can also perform the job of tanking when neccessary.
Raiding:
Currently I have a lot of free time spare, got absolutely no commitments during the summer, and as I read that the times for B Raid are only on Mondays and Tuesdays from 19:30 to 24:00, I can easily make those raids without any problems - money back guarantee ;)
Could probably make other times aswell, but from the post I read, Grilly seems adamant in the two raid situation :)
World of Warcraft History:
Sheesh... long one here... I started playing WoW as soon as the game launched, I began playing on Dunemaul as Alliance, and then leveled a nice and lovable Paladin up to 60, going through many guilds that tried to raid and failed, being torn apart by every other guild in sight for progression. After a short while, I ended up in Triumvirate for a brief period before announcing that I'd reroll to horde on Dunemaul, due to the fact that I had a lot of friends on the horde side that I wanted to play with (Jubai <3), so I created a warlock!
Whilst I was leveling, I had a few chats here and there with Delling, got to know him and the kind of guild that Iron Edge was, and somewhere along the line... I've sortof forgotten the exact details... I ended up having a chat with Malik and joining the ranks of the Iron Edge warlocks (Even though I was level 20 at the time :p).
I leveled and leveled and finally reached 60 and joined IE in their raids, starting at a few MC raids, into raiding Blackwing Lair every other day, and then into a couple of raids in AQ... which could've gone better, if Grish didn't wipe us at Prophet Skeram... and then into Naxxramas for some fun-filled wipe raids.
After Malik took a break from WoW, I became the class leader of warlocks in IE and then did a ... ... so-so job throughout the Burning Crusade, slaying every boss in that expansion, and having a tremendous time during Sunwell, especially M'uru... ... except for the time Grish wiped us for not having a repaired bow...
Going into Wrath of the Lich King, I re-rolled from warlock to Death Knight, and slowly leveled up again to eventually join the A Raid Team, slaying every raid boss and completing most of the hard mode achievements, before taking an unscheduled absence before the release of Ulduar
... I think that's everything up until now atleast
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
I want to join Iron Edge because IE is my home, my family if you will, I've probably spent more time speaking to you guys than most of my real family anyway! Throughout the years I've been in IE I've learnt so much from so many people, I doubt I'd even be anything like I am now if it wasn't for this guild, and for that I thank everyone, and I miss everything, from raiding amongst the IE ranks, to all the people that I used to speak to on a regular basis... Delling, Kawe, Tyler... the list goes on... hell, I even miss Vorte.
I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else, if I can't get a spot in the B raid, I'll end up applying for F&F, If I'm rejected there for some reason.... well... I can always pester you guys on vent :)
What can I offer to Iron Edge?
Well... I can offer a (now) reliable, relaxed raider that never stops trying to better himself, to try push his class to the limit, that will come prepared for his... two raids a week. I also consider myself to be a very nice, sociable person that can be quite sarcastic at times... mostly to Norwegians... did I mention that I loooooove Grilly thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much? :)
I'm pretty sure my gear will be up to Ulduar standards, considering that fact that it's pretty much all 25 man gear.

Shame it's a B-raid app -- we still sorely need decent DKs in the A-raid. But, hey, something tells me your attendance isn't going to be good enough to hit 4 raids a week.

You're probably right about me not hitting 4 raids a week again, probably wouldn't want to either after the summer, really don't feel like falling that far behind with work ever again.
and on the subject of drugs, believe it or not, I haven't done any drug at all for two months and counting! I even managed to stay clean at a festival =o
it seems that being able to drive directly affects the narcotics I consume :p

Well the DK flu has jumped from the A-raid to the B-raid so we only have 2 dk's atm one of which has a tendency to not post when he isn't coming/come online late/dc's early.

We recently lost a couple of DKs, so you've applied at a good time! If you're confident that you can be here 80% of raids on monday and tuesday nights, I see no reason not to give you a trial! Unless you left any bad blood behind with someone (other than the A-raiders that you bailed on)..
