Another Clint Eastwood directed movie released around the same time as Gran Turino (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1205489/), this sneaked past almost unnoticed. At least in Germany. I had it on my HD too for a long time ("ewwww... Angelina Jolie...") before finally watching it.
It's very good if you like the typical Eastwood dialogue/character-driven movies. I recommend you do not read a summary or any info about what that movie is about, as I had a couple of "wtf"-moments while watching. Those will be ruined if you read up on it in advance. Basically all you need to know is that it's about a single mom in the 1920s/1930s fighting for her son. It's even more wtf that it's based on a true story.

Yeah, seen this movie some time ago. It's a really good movie. And I didn't even knew it was Angelina Jolie after I read a review afterwards.
