Personal Information
Hey all my name is Gary and I live in a small town called Darlington, north-east of England. Im 22 and atm im working part time in a restaurant with Sebastian aka Kagemoth. I’m working part time because im at college studying Law, Psychology and Biology. Hopefully going to Uni next year to study Forensics and criminology.
When I’m not working or studying I’m gaming whether it be on the PC or Xbox 360.

I play Restoration Shaman and have since I started the game and raiding midway through TBC.. I have no Alts so have had a lot of time to understand and play my Sham very well.
Attunements:
Since I started the game my Progress has only been from TBC so I will leave out vanilla wow.
TBC – Cleared Kara/Zul Aman/ BT all before the nerf
WoTLK – Cleared Nax 10/25 man
Uld 10/25man both up to Yogg – Started Hard modes in 10man
Toc 10/25 Cleared both and up to Anub on both hard modes
OS 3 Drakes up (Before Nerf was available)
VoA all bosses and have come close to the Earth, Wind and Fire achievement
Raiding
Atm I am not raiding as much as I would like to be as I have been in a few guilds as people have been leaving for other servers and faction changing, so haven’t had a stable guild in awhile. I started my career on Alliance and only faction changed to horde about a month ago. Where I joined the guild im in now.
More specific times:
Mondays: Cant as I have college till half 9 but am free after if I am needed
Tuesdays: Whenever required
Wednesdays: Whenever required
Thursdays: Cant as I have college till half 9 but am free after if I am needed
Fridays: Whenever required if not working
Saturday: Whenever required if not working
Sundays: Free all day Sundays as it’s the day of rest (Or so they say)
Gaming (optional) and World Of Warcraft history
I have been playing the game since half way through TBC, I started playing because I am I massive fan of RPG’s and started my gaming career off on PS1 and PS2 with the Final Fantasy games. From there always had a love for these types of games and since playing wow I haven’t looked back…. I leveled as Enhancment but I new it wasn’t the right thing for me so when I hit 70 I changed to resto found a guild and started raiding Kara and from that point my love for my class and spec grew and I cant see my self not healing.
In my time on wow I have been in 2 of the top guilds on my server and made many friends along the way both irl and on game. I feel like I need a change of scenery as even after the faction change I still know so so many people on alliance and now it’s the same on the Horde.
About a month back I started to PvP and now I can’t stop. It really ups your game and makes you faster, you think and do stuff you wouldn’t normally do if you just raided. Only problem is my battle ground is pretty hard and we battle people from Al’Akir and they are the 3rd best pvp server in the world, so its hard finding a partner who is up to standards of the opponents
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
As I mentioned early I met Kagemoth a little back as we started working together, I told him I was looking for a pvp realm as well as a raiding guild. He speaks very highly of all you guys and it would be a pleasure to be part of a guild who work together and get along so well. I would like to have progress under my belt as I have always been I guilds that disband just as you get into it and its hard to play when you keep having set backs. Its always nice to get new gear but that’s not why I want to join, I play with the gear I have now. I would just like to take Yogg down and Anub on HC and worry bout gear as it comes.
Another reason is for the pvp aspect of the server and guild it would be really nice to find a pvp partner to hit then high 2k ratings
What can I offer to Iron Edge?
Im a down to earth guy and really easy to get along with, good sense of humor and enjoys having a good laugh.
I have a wide understanding of my class as he is my only character, I read forums and updates of everything that’s coming out for him and the game. So im never unprepaired.
Last words?
Im on Azsune at the moment and if I get into the guild I will be moving server the weekend or early next week.

You have okish gear and experience. But unfortunately you would miss start of our tuesday and thursday raids since raid invites start 19:30, and waiting for people to turn up late is not very good. Other than that you seem like a nice guy, dont know about your awareness since I have never seen you playing.
I will not deny or accept this application yet, need to get Dells opinion first.

Tough one.
I'm more than happy to have you in the guild, as Kage's work companion, but it is unlikely we will switch you in after the raid starts.
You're welcome to go on standby of course -- but again, by missing Monday and Thursday, you might miss progress raids, and I'm not going to bring you in for a boss that you know little about.

I understand dude and I’m happy to be on standby. It wont be every Monday and Thursday i miss but it will be the majority.
Atm i know all boss fights in game from Anub HC to Yogg, its just a havent cleared all these guys.
Even if im not going to going to be there 100% of the time i would like the opportunity to show what i have to offer, even as a spare part lol. Plus be nice to find a 2v2 and 3v3 team while im there :P

But average gear, below average experience, and can't raid two of your raiding days, and yet you are still considering him?
Either Kage has put in an awesome word for him, or you A-raiders are more desperate than I thought.
More of a F & F application imo. Plus he's a Troll Shaman, we know how those turn out.

You would get palmars vote. Gary post a pic of u in your PvP gear (pve looks ugly) and show
them what you look like. He looks frieking cool and cool guys are cool which means he can
fit in here real smooth.

Anub HC or yogg 0 keepers like normal one, maybe boss look same but fight NOT!

say in terms of PvE a Troll makes good sense whith thier extra trinket effect.
50% is kinda low your right. But we have 3 shamans and atleat 2 of u are online in
any main raid. Wouldnt that 50% attendance then come in useful , cause then there
are almost always 3 shaman in raid? dunno if that works for raid composition but
our A team does have a '4 of each class' thing going for it.
In my opinion , being friends aside, the only real draw back to this app is we don't
have anyone to back up his skill and his gear could use sum Heroic ToC items in it.

Beserking 10% haste
Regeneration 10% regen on health
Orcs = Blood Fury Increase in damage and sp
Hardness 15% on stuns
Cows = Warstomp
5% more health
Its not rocket science to see what race is better for shaman for PvP and PvE.
Now back to the raiding like i have been saying but people are not grasping i HAVE fought Anub on hard mode just not beat him so yes i do know this fight. Only guy i have NEVER fought is Yogg 0 watches
Gear dosnt always make the player yes it helps but its the skill that is needed in raids. Im not applying to the guild so you guys will carry me to gear and through content etc im apply cause i want a good solid, structured guild. where i can stay for along time.

look kage 50% is not for A raid , maybe for casual guy in guild yes.

5 Expertise on axes , and they fixed commanding on totems?

Yeah but as a Resto the 5 expertise on axes will never get used so never put it in there but you are right Snowie ;D

Kage we have 2 shamans with 98% attendance... Even tho we could use another resto shaman, I have to deny this because of the 50% attendance. It would be unfair to invite you for the farm and then to 1 progress raid per week, as others would raid every day. I dont mind F&F invitation tho..

Hm, I am new. But I only know about 2 shamans. I don't want to speak about the other specs, but no spot for 2 resto shamans in a progress raid unfortunetly (we had luck with this Anub HC), since beeing resto shaman not a part time job, I think. I am lack of the competitors now and no problem for me to give my spot to trial somebody. But you can raid on 2 days and hm I wanna raid always... but you'r a proper english man. Somebody like it.
About the gear:
It's not the best! And it seems you have been little confused about geming 12sp+10haste>23sp! Or you maybe gamed your weapon to pvp, I don'T know.
My opinion:
I am not a pvper, but can't imagine how can you pvp with 0 hit? Gloomy. You have underlined several times, you are mastered of the class and you have playing pvp like this?

With me having only the one weapon and no pvp weapon yet it would be stupid for me to gem it with hit. And then go into raids with hit on my weapon.
And with me gemming it with SP is the simple fact of me wanting to boost my SP and that the 12sp+10haste is a waste as the 10 haste dosnt increase the speed of my healing spells as i need more then just 10 to increase it by 0.1 seconds or more.
At the moment my haste is fine and will go up as i get better gear.

^^ Gary , beware of inciting wrath! So we have 2 shamans 98% and then maybe a 3rd.
Like i said that 50% thing might not be so bad. We work off Dkp. How would a high
attendance shaman lose a Need to a 50% shaman. It would be very hard imo since there
is just so much gear flying around.
Also its not just 50% its 'around' 50%. He says he might be able to do i think
thursdays but just more often than not , he won't.

I understand that the 50% attendance is making people think twice about my application.
I can guarantee being there Tuesdays from what i hear Monday and Tuesday are progress raids.
Where Wednesdays and Thursdays are Farming raids and i can make Wednesdays so my 50% will be even. One Progress and One Farm.
And i will be able to make Mondays and Thursdays just not every week and when im not there i can be on standby if someone needs to leave for any reason.
I understand that at 50% i won’t be first choice but i don’t mind as long as i get to raid.

I feel that if he can prove his value to the guild he can become a very strong
member of the raid team.
Also this is a good time to recruit him , since we are heading into the Citadel soon
and with it being X-mas the college will be breaking up for holidays. What better
time to see what a trialist has to offer.

As I said in my first reply, so many pages ago, it's hard to bring someone in on Tuesday if they've missed the previous wipe raids on Thursday and Monday.
I would take Sparrow's offer of F&F, and fill spots if they become available. The raid is getting nice and full right now though, so I don't know how many raids you will see.

I have been on my server for so long now and would like a new start so yeah i will take you up on your offer and in future things may change if my irl commitments change.
And over xmas i won’t be at college so hopefully i will see a few raids.
Never the less i would like to join.
