This is a fun horror movie! Not many are made these days. Todays horrors are usually very serious with heavy symbolism (such as blurry vacation photos in The Ring….scary!!!11). This one feels very refreshing! It has the creational joy of low budget 80s horror, but with a budget!
Anyway, a young women is cursed by an old lady. Turns out she got three days until a demon will drag her down to hell. During these three days the demon will make her life a misery. Now, she has three days to try to get rid of it using, for example, animal sacrifices, weird summoning rituals and tomb raiding.
There are many remarkable scenes in this movie. There are many EWWWW moments, but its not gore like Saw. More…slimey. And funny.
Anyway. If you don’t like movies like evil dead/braindead, etc, don’t bother. I’m not a HUGE fan of them but I did find this one entertaining.
7/10

I found it quite disappointing, expected a better movie. It begins interesting up to the fight in the parking garage, but soon ends up in a lot of totally cheap, boring razzle-dazzle nonsense (loud noises, flickering lights etc). Rock bottom is the seance scene, I actually found that offensive and facepalming in it's stupidity/cliché.
There are some typical Raimi-scenes in it (often the fights), the movie could have used way more of those.
WTB better scriptwriter.

I thought the movie was great until she gets the anvil in the head, after that it just slowly decayed into something that didn't quite feel well made...
Also, lol@goat.
