Personal Information
Hi, my name is Niklas and I'm a 38 year old guy residing in southern Sweden. I write and speak english fluently and I'm not shy on vent/ts/mumble. When I'm not online I work (normal hours) and play chess as a hobbie.
Character Information
My character is Nikk (http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dunemaul&cn=Nikk) and I have been around on this server for 4.5 years now. I have been resto speced all my raiding time, and only started with moonkin in the last months.
Raiding/Raid Experience
I raided through MC, BWL, AQ40 (we nailed twins but not cthun) with Fearsome War Engine back in the days (was co-raidleader). In TBC I raided kara,gruul, magtheridon, and first bosses of SSC and The Eye but stuff came in the way and I paused playing. For wotlk I've done naxx, ulduar, toc, and now start of icc10.
I can play all weekdays 18:00 and onward, and all weekends.
My gear is so-so, I have tried to get what I can from 3.3 patch. I'm testing glyph rapid rejuv atm (had swiftmend before) and I think it's a keeper.
For my Moonkin set I have 4 pieces t9 (chest,head,legs,gloves), starfire idol and the cloth ilvl245 shoulders making me hit capped (with +hit food).
I'm aming to replace the [wowitem]Forethought Talisman[/wowitem] with the emblem of frost one [wowitem]Purified Lunar Dust[/wowitem] soon.
Gaming and World Of Warcraft history
I started with computers back in 1984 with a ZX Spectrum 48K, and I've been playing computer games ever since. In mid-late 90s I started playing quake/quake2 wich I really loved. First MMORPG i played (beside MUD at school) was Ultima Online then I tried a couple: Anarchy Online, Earth and beyond, Eve Online... before i landed on WOW.
I tried an ally rogue before I settled for the druid some 5months after the release. I was the biggest noob druid back then leveling as a bear 'cause I didn't want to deal with combopoints again... Eventually I reached 60 and joined fearsome war engine where i played until tbc realease. I left for In Flames where after some 6months into tbc i didn't have time to be hardcore anymore and took a big pause. I came back for wotlk and raided naxx and ulduar with Resolute. Resolute fell apart and I played on a mage instead (lasted for the 3.2patch). Some month ago I realised my druid was fun playing so I refired it. I've played some with FWE again but decided to leave them (if you want reasons PM me).
Why do you want to join Iron Edge?
You have been around for so long and have an impressive trackrecord. Joining will give me a chance to see and conquer the end-game content.
What can I offer to Iron Edge?
I'm a damn good healer, and a fast learner. I come prepared to raids. I have a sick sense of humor that I sometime spill into vent.
Last words?
Yeah I have a blue gem in my belt but that is to remind me I'm not perfect ^^

OMG MOONKINNNNNNNNNNN!!
As you mention yourself you gear isn't that great, but neither is it completely horrible. What is your moonkin gear like? We have a fairly steady healer base in the b-raid and are really looking for a good moonkin or ele shaman to help boost our slacking caster dpsers.

Your moonkin looks decent as well although if you still have 2t8 you might want to equip that. 2t8+2t9 is BiS even when you have the 258 version of t9. Or at least it was until 3.3, not sure about any changes after that.

if you still have 2t8 you might want to equip that. 2t8+2t9 is BiS even when you have the 258 version of t9.

We already run with a combat rogue and enh shaman!
When I got my gear I read up on it and due to Item - Druid T8 Balance 2P Bonus - Increases the bonus granted by Eclipse for Starfire and Wrath by 7%. (Down from 15%)
nerf the 4pt9 bonus is in line with 2pt8.

Yes I'll swap the ring (most of my gearing have been towards resto so far) and I'll save my emblems of frost. I have started getting stuff together for some crafted caster upgrades.
