Is amzing and yet it has STILL evaded this baord , i think grish is a hater.
There are a 2 versions of this but the best one and closest to the manga is the OVA's!

no it was based on the manga and the manga was no where near finished when it (8 years ago i believe) came out (the series)
the OVA's are truer to the manga is all i know
oh and no cage i have nothing against hellsing just didnt think the OVA was that awesome as you and kawe made it out to be
